Impossible to Change Blade
This should not be so difficult. I have purchased several of these utility knives and they are all sitting on a shelf. Instructions should not be necessary but it is impossible to change these blades... they're new, never been able to use.

Make it better!!!
Why in the world you have to take this apart to put in a blade, from purchase, is beyond me. It should come stocked with a blade, and why in the world, make it so ridiculously hard to put back together after you get this contraption apart, is beyond me. I am dewalt girl. Love my tools, drills, saws, etc. But it just so happens the same day I purchase a new utility knife and screwdriver, I have problems with both. The screwdriver had to be returned due to a defective bit. And inserting the blade was not the issue, just getting it apart and putting it back together without everything falling all over the place was! Frustrating!

Worst Utility knife ever
I wanted a more heavy duty utility knife to install LVP. Most utility knifes are almost too easy to use. This one was impossible to "change blade" with a dysfunctional button. I spent a half hour just trying to open it to put in a blade. This usually takes 15 seconds. I am returning this junk.

Functions well, easy to change blade, but...
much larger (to big) than previous model- not as compact. Also not as comfortable and smooth when gripping for use. The 10035L model has better/thicker steel making it more comfortable. Don't care for or need the belt clip. I will say the blade storage is better on this model and it is much easier to change the blade.

Decent enough knife, how about instructions??
I don't consider myself a Neanderthal, however, a simple downloadable .pdf and/or instructions on the back of the packaging sure would have been nice. I fiddled around with it for about 5 minutes before I realized the position had to be fully extended, etc. And what a surprise--while trying to figure out how to change the blade, I discovered more blades! I bought blades because nowhere evident on the packaging does it say it comes with blades.
Anyway, tldr: good enough knife, just put a drawing an 8 year-old can follow along with and you've got a better product already.
