Bonds well but curing is much slower than stated.
Seven hours later, this product still is not completely cured. I had to hold the glued pieces of thermoplastic in place for an hour before this adhesive would hold sufficiently to release the pieces without coming apart. Temperature was 72 F; humidity was 42%. It appears that the bond is very good. The only complaint that I have thus far is that, due to this slow cure time, I was not able to complete my project today and will have to wait overnight for bonding to be strong enough to endure the spring loaded tension that this part will be under.

Poor product
I purchased this product to repair a headlight assembly on my car. The product was to dry a translucent yellow. It wouldn't even cure overnight. I mixed very well, & tried a second time, but the final result was a tacky, clear when dried. It never hardened as it should. Now I have a bunch of epoxy on the plastic assembly that will have to come off to try another product. Unhappy customer.

Not a reliable product
On the first application it dried over a period of an hour. The second application did not dry overnight. (Same syringe and one would think the same mixing ratio)

good stuff
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being a house owner I say this is a must-have it really fixes a lot of simple things. it's one of those simple things that could be in use for very important things and could be put on most items and its of good qulity.

Hugely optimistic set/cure times
The set time is supposedly 5 mins, with a cure time of 1 hr.
This is not correct. Days later it still has a relatively soft consistency, which can be dented with a nail. Rather unacceptable for an epoxy to still not fully cure in this way. Was mixed longer than the set time window. If it's like other similar jb weld products such as plastic bonder it will probably set up fairly hard eventually, but 'cured' refers to fully set, rock solid in my opinion, and not like hard rubber/plastic. It should NOT be advertised as cured in 1 hour, when it's still solidifying days later under ideal conditions. Really I would put the cure time at least 4-5 days, if not a week or more. If I attempted to sand in 1 hr, it simply would not be sandable. This experience is similar to some enamel paints on the market, which advertise 24 hour cure time, when it's realistically a few days if not more for a full cure.

Too runny and no warning about use with gasoline
I may have ordered the wrong product, but feel the need to write a review anyway. I needed a product to patch a very small hole in my plastic gas can that a rodent had made in the handle (it probably got a mouth full of gas!).
I selected this product because I had excellent luck with other JB Weld products, and this sounded like exactly what I needed.
I took one star off for each of these reasons:
1. There is no statement on the package or the product web page that says NOT to use it where it will come into contact with gasoline. But an FAQ does state that it's not intended for these applications. I did not see that until after I used it, and it obviously was not on the package itself.
2. The resin and hardener are much more liquid that I'm used to in an epoxy product. Even after carefully mixing equal parts, the uncured epoxy was very runny and difficult to keep in place. I had to keep scooping it up until it got thick enough to stay in place and that took more than 5 minutes.
So...while I admit it's probably not the right product, the web page and especially the package should mention that it's not for welding plastic tanks used for gasoline.
