This is a stainless steel mortise lock for a 45 degree keyway. The hook is spring-loaded with an adjustable hook projection that extends to the locked position to automatically latch upon closing. Each lock has the adjusting screw on the front or face of the lock for quick and easy adjustment. It has a round end faceplate that is designed to fit on most Adam Rite doors.
