SDS-Max carbide 5/8" x 21" Rotary Hammer Drill Bit is designed with the SDS-Max drive system for fast bit changes and efficient power transfer from hammer to bit. Bit breaker points pulverize the material, which means up to 20% faster drilling speeds. Rear guards protect the bit when hitting hard aggregate and rebar, which means longer bit life. Variable flutes remove the dust out of the hole more efficiently. Wide flute entrances increases drilling speeds, and the reinforced flutes prevent bit breakage in tough concrete applications. The centering tip provides exact spot drilling. Bit meets the ANSI specification for drilling holes for anchor applications and includes wear mark indicator that signifies when the bit no longer meets the ANSI spec.
