Just cut pipe and push Pex, copper or CPVC tubing into fitting end until tubing seats at stop. It can be disconnected by pulling back on ring and releasing pipe. It is code approved for behind wall without access and direct in ground burial installations. It is NSF-14, NSF-61, CSA/ASTM and UPC code listed and approved.
