I have had a Weber Genesis Silver BBQ with cover for over 20yrs. The cover is now very worn but it has had hot summers and cold Wisconsin winters. Granted it is under an awning but the thick quality material is durable. This new cover for my new Spirit at my second home in Texas is garbage. No better than others you can order from China that cost half as much. I was so impressed with my new Weber Spirit BBQ and remarked to my wife "finally a U.S. company (Weber) that continues to make a quality product that is the very best in the world". No so with the cover. Paper thin that won't last....not up to Weber standards and does not deserve the brand!

Service and follow up was great
Received a Weber spirit II for Father’s Day. Had an issue with the ignition. Weber sent out a part and it resolved the issue. Looking forward to Labor Day weekend grilling!

Nice grill cover
So far I am very pleased with this grill cover. It fits our grill and is easy to put on and take off. Will have to wait until the winter to see how it holds up in snow and ice. The material is thinner than our old Weber cover which lasted many years.

Good protection, not very attractive
Sturdy, easy to put on and off. Will fully protect our new grill. I do wish it came in other colors or even stripes. The grill is very large and, covered, it looks like a giant hearse parked on our deck.

Not the right fit
I bought this cover and found that it does not cover the unit completely. This was a concern that I questioned since another owner showed that the bottom of the unit could rust and theirs did. Cover again does not fully cover and I returned. Also, cost is too high for not doing the job!

Good cover, good material, .....except the velcro.
I have had this cover for a little over two years and the material is still in great shape and the logo even still looks like new and it sits out in the weather all year in Michigan. But the velcro retaining tabs have lost their "hookiness?" are now useless and the cover blows off every time the wind blows (which is often in michigan). It's so frustrating to buy a quality product with quality materials only to have it made nearly useless by using cheap velcro. Now i have to resort to trying to strap it down or stick some aftermarket velcro on it.

Flimsy Cover
The grill is fantastic! However this cover is very thin and the velcro strips seem to be poorly sewn. I judge it should be better quality for the price. I live in an area that has frequent high wind and intense sun and I doubt this will last more than a few months.

Velcro doesn't last long after exposure to the sun
The grill cover would be great except for the velcro. The cover has Velcro tabs on the lower corners and about 8 inches below the shelf to keep the cover from flapping around in the wind or coming off. Unfortunately, Velcro does not last long with repeated sun exposure. Figure out a different way to secure the cover and it would be a great cover.

Poor retention system
I bought this cover to replace my original cover that had warn out. The new cover didn't have a long velcro strap like the old one to secure it tightly. New cover was taken by the wind last night, Expensive lesson. One week old and the new strap design didn't hold up. No more cover unless Weber is willing to replace it.

My new Weber grill
I was impressed that the instructions to assemble, very detailed and easy to follow . I cooked burgers that night , they came out perfect, I attribute this to the even heating of the Weber burner system.
