Great screw...Ridiculous bit
I bought a box of these to try out at work yesterday. We are currently doing some 16 gauge metal stud construction. i wanted a small self tapper that was not a phillips head...cuz lets face it...phillips heads are stripping, weak, pc of junk, should be obsolete screws. ALL OF EM! These screws worked a 100 times better for our fastening application.....until the bit that comes with it breaks...which mine did after 3 screws. no big deal right...just go grab a different t20 bit and continue...not happenin. The bit that comes with these is a 1 of a kind...because there is no bevel to it. its a "solid" , "straight" bit. if you use any other bit besides the TXC 20 bit that comes with them, you get wobble...and alot of it! went to a hardware store to see if a specific txc 20 can be bought. It cannot...at least not that ive seen in my area. I cant for the life of me, figure out WHY such a good screw, comes with a "special", "specific" bit that nobody can find...its too bad really...because i went from potentially buying a large amount of these screws toooo none now...all because of a "unicorn" bit. Please improve or simplify the only thing that can be used to fasten these screws in a timely, efficient manner
