Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works Like a Charm on Lathe & Plaster walls I searched everywhere for an authentic plaster repair dry mix. This is the stuff you need to repair your lathe & plaster wall. You'll need to do two coats to properly strengthen and protect your vintage plaster wall. Watch how-to videos online and you'll be good to go. Do it properly like they did it back in the day and your plaster should last 100 years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for plaster work repairs; easy to use. I bought this to do some minor patching on my home which has plaster ceilings and walls. Plaster material is generally harder than similar drywall compounds. Finding a plaster compound was difficult and TrueValue was the only store I could find it in. It worked great. Put a little in a disposable plastic party cup, add water, and mix. Since its not pre-mixed a bag should store a long time if kept dry. Spreads smoothly with a good working time. Do not put on too deep a coat as it may crater as it dries and drying time will be longer. There is some shrinkage as it dries so if you've got deep holes you will probably need a second and maybe a third coat.
