Rated 2 out of 5 by from Leaks Bar Oil I was excited about the saw. Filled it up with bar oil and used it for a few cuts. Came back a week later and there was bar oil all over the floor. Tried again and stored in different orientation - same result, oil all over my tool rack. Called customer service and they told me that is the way it is. Not that thrilled with the purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great saw if it works Loved it for about a week then the trigger failed. Exchanged it for a new saw and same thing happened two weeks later. Just glad they failed quick so I didn’t get stuck with a bad tool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little chainsaw I have been using this saw to cut down trees and cut firewood. Great power and it seems it can run all day on a 60v 9 amp hour battery. Just add bar oil an start cutting. So easy to use, no pulling a cord.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beast! This saw is an absolute beast! I purchased this to do small debris clean ups and pruning for my customers but decided to give it a little workout recently. I cut down 3 dogwood trees which were about 25ft y’all and 12 inches across at the base of the tree. It cut them all three and limbed them with ease! All with one flexvolt 9ah battery! This thing is awesome! Interested to see how a larger dewalt saw will perform soon, and also the hedge trimmers!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gets the job done with some flaws I am overall pretty satisfied with this saw. I purchased it over a year ago to use for cuts around the house and the occasional tree trimming side work. I am a professional commercial plumber so this saw does not come on the jobsite with me as I have no use for it there. However when I bought this saw I was doing a whole lot of side work gardening and building decks and I found many uses for this saw including cutting deck posts. It produced great power and not having to mix gas and oil is a huge benefit of this saw. I have to mention that this saw does have a couple downfalls though. I believe there is something wrong with the bar and chain oil dispenser on this saw as it seems to put out an absurd amount of oil which causes it to run out quite quickly. Also when this saw sits in my garage it constantly leaks oil so my shelf is now covered in oil and I hate putting this thing in my truck as it gets oil wherever I set it. The other thing about this saw that bothers me is that the chain tension adjustment seems to always loosen itself after a few cuts. as a result I am always checking the chain tension on this saw and tightening it back up. I've had quite a few chains peel off while cutting due to this design flaw. its a good thing I don't have to take the saw apart to tension the chain otherwise I would be quite upset. Other than those flaws, this saw is a great option for the homeowner or general contractor. I cant say its the best option for a professional trimmer yet but maybe the next generation of this saw will be better
