Rated 1 out of 5 by from Used twice broke twice. The first time i used the lawn mower, it was to trim the grass after my lawn guy already cut the grass. I used two 9ah batteries that drained down to two bars within 5 minutes and the lawn mower broke within 8 minutes. The belt came off the pulley and got wedged im the shaft. Brought it to DeWalt to get fixed. 8 months later I decide to use it again (I still have a grass guy) and the same thing happens. Don’t need a mower but if i get a new one it won’t be DeWalt. PS: Love the rest of DeWalt’s tools and will continue using them, just not the mower. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worked for approximately 30 min before breaking The 5ah batteries are pointless. I have about 3500sqft of city yard to mow and the 5ah batteries can’t handle it. Took me about 2 sets to finish. I really liked the way this mower mulched so I bit the bullet and ordered the 9ah batteries. Pulled the mower out of the garage for the 2nd time, got about 4 passes done on the yard and something inside let loose and the blade will no longer spin. I’m sure it will get repaired but what a colossal waste of time and money

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great mower if you already own dewalt 60v batt. If you already already own some larger 60v batteries and you have a typical sized yard, this mower is perfect for you. I will never own another gas powered push mower again. Mower is well built, light weight and super easy to use. I love not having to pull start a cold engine. Has plenty of power and a great run time using two 9 amp hour batteries. The mower deck and bag are a bit smaller than a typical gas mower, which requires a few extra trips to the green waste can to get the job done. I don’t mind this. The trade off is you don’t have to pull start the mower every time you stop to empty it! Mower is not self propelled, but it is very light and easy to maneuver, so it really doesn’t need to be self propelled. Only complaint is I feel the batteries that come with the mower are a bit too small for this type of application. I didn’t even bother using them. Also, since 2 batteries are required for use, they should have included 2 chargers as well. Great product overall for people who have spare dewalt batteries and average sized yards. Rated 5 out of 5 by from So quiet & lightweight Bought this to round out my dewalt cordless tools and don’t regret it! No more spilling gas, worrying about oil or how noisy it is. Super lightweight easy to use and does a great job. Only thing I wish is that the bag was a little bigger [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid and reliable Durable, with metal parts instead of plastic. Has done just as good of a job as my old gas mower. My yard is just a tad too big to get mowed in one battery charge, so I simply mow the front yard one day, and the back yard the next. One day I will upgrade to the 9.0 amp hour batteries and get it done at once. Controls are easy and simple, and it's so much quieter. No more carb cleaning for me. I also love that I can fold it up and and stand it on end to save room in my garage. The only complaints I have are 1) the handle material will easily tear if you rub it on a fence or a tree. 2) the packaging it came in is weak, should be beefed up a bit. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great, but you need extra batteries. This mower works as well as my gas powered mower. I can mow 3/4 of my lawn with the 5ah batteries provided. With one charger provided it can take some time to recharge and finish the lawn. I own DeWalt power tools so I switch to my 3ah batteries to finish. The light weight of the unit is a plus for an older person such as myself. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Power without cords or gas I love this tool, the lawn mower is excellent for small areas. If you expect to mow your pasture, this is not for you, but for regular size backyard this is a life saver. It has plenty of power on the 2 20V batteries, it is light weight and easy to maneuver. I really like to fold and stand feature for storing. I would highly recommend this lawn mower, especially to people with smaller yards. It is worth the investment. And if you need longer run time, you can get a bigger battery. I do agree that dual charger would be a great addition to the tool, since it runs on 2 batteries. But if you have more than 1 tool, you usually have more than one charger. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best mower available if using flexvolt! If you already own the flexvolt battery system then look no farther. This is the mower you want. It's really annoying to see bad reviews on such a fantastic product. If your going to give a bad review on run time then review the battery, not this mower! The mower is the best I've ever used but it is power hungry. So again this is a great mower if you plan on using flex batts. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
