Rated 4 out of 5 by from What is the list price on this thing. I really needed a good cordless light for a difficult job. I paid a lot for it at my electric supply house. It worked great but I just want to find out why it was so darn expensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great light but it needs a built in charger. I have used this light and it is amazing. However, Milwaukee should have put a built in charger into this unit. I do side work for family. The other day my nephew got keys to their first house. Beautiful home but really needed new plugs and switches. Anyway, my point is that we were switching the power to the house off/on. It really bugged me that the light was not charging the battery during the time we had the power on. To compare, we had my Dewalt radio/charger DCR025. When the power was off it ran on battery and when the power was on it was charging the battery. I feel that a work light is a much more vital piece of equipment than a radio. I know I could just have another charger with battery ready but I have very high expectations of these great brands. Please Milwaukee, please fix and make this great product even better. Its a no brainer, if a tool can run on battery and be plugged into wall power it should charge the battery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is an awesome light I often work out in the field for our family business (automation and controls) so I do wiring and other field service, and I really wanted a light that I could place near to me, but covered a wide angle without being too diluted. This thing puts out an amazing amount of light in a pretty good sized area. And it is super clear light, not blueish and doesn't make everything look mono-colored. I love how I can plug it in too, this is a huge bonus for me. Very versatile, much better than those cheap flood tripods that everyone sells, this thing is brighter, and is much smaller and easier to work with. Man, I love this thing. I am probably going to get the tripod light also to work in addition to this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from needs charger build in excellent light, very durable. i only wish when it was plugged in, it would run the light and charge the battery at the same time. it is an led which really doesnt consume that much

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I will never buy another halogen light again! I am a professional painter who also does small sheetrock jobs and wall repairs. Having good lighting (even in "lighted spaces") directly where I am working is key to the high standard I strive for. I always use to use halogen lights and everyone knows the problems there. SUPER HOT, bulbs need replaced constantly, and I even started a tarp on fire once! This light is replacement for those but stands high above. I don't do reviews much, but I've been using this for over 6 months now and love it's performance. I usually use a 5 amp battery, but if I'm going to be in once place for a while, just get the drop cord out and its all set. With the battery, I can usually get by on just the medium light setting, allowing me to still see and the battery lasts twice as long. Very bright, love how the "height"/"angle" adjusts in perfect little increments and I don't have to lock it down or worry about the position moving - it's locked in. Stays cool, very durable, could drop it from a ladder and I don't think it would phase it. No need to change bulbs, should last me most of my painting days. The color of the light is true and not too white or yellow. They nailed it with this one! Way to go Milwaukee.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good portable work light, beats 500w quartz! NEEDS A BUILT IN CHARGER WHEN USING AC!... Also, provide a trade-up option when built-in charger model is released! Battery time is fair, the stated times must be with a brand new battery. I experienced the 1-1/2 hour time on low. A little bit of back-lighting would be great, not just forward LED's. Used it in an attic, forward light is great, but need a little light around it to see safely. The light turned off a few times with the cord plugged in (using it without a battery), don't know why or if it malfunctioned. Overall, impressed with the work light, bummed about no charger!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Light for all-a-round usage. This is a great light when used as designed. Much better than any "portable floor type" light used in the past. It can be plugged into AC if you need the long term lighting option which comes in handy at times. Most of the time we get about 1-1/2 hrs. on high using the 5.0 battery. It has 3 brightness settings; most of the time we run on the medium setting and get plenty of light for 2+ hours, per charge. We have 4 units and have retired the other floor LED's that require AC. Initial cost is significant, true (keep in mind you don't have all the cords, unless you want), but well worth the cost in performance, durability, and ease of usage at our sites.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Plenty of Bright, Full Spectrum Light! I need bright light for remodels and general construction. I often work in areas where lighting is not installed or operational. The light is convenient for areas where a cord would be in the way or impractical and I get long run-times with the 9.0aH batteries when not using the power cord option. I love the fact that the light does not generate high temperatures and worry less about accidently causing a jobsite fire (as with a traditional 500 watt halogen light source). My guys often comment that the lights are 'crazy bright' choosing to turn them down to the medium setting. The warning flash is helpful when the battery gets low. The only thing I wish the light would include is a battery charging option when the light is plugged in. Otherwise this is a superior product.
