Rated 1 out of 5 by from Liquafeed is great, The Feeder is junk First, I have used Miracle-Gro for years and I love it. But the feeder is horrible. It leaks and how it has stopped dispensing. Why can you not design and build a better feeder??? Really, in the 21st century, we have products that cannot do something this simple. Show some corporate responsiblility and design one that actually works.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I have used this product for 10 to 15 years and never had a problem until this past year. They have changed something so that it only works for short time and then stops. I have washed all the dispenser and it dispenses fine except the liquid will not go from the bottle to the feeder. Whatever change they made they need to change it back or they will lose a lot of long-time customers like me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from May Have FINALLY Figured This Thing Out! I wrote a 1-star review of this product a few weeks ago. I'm raising my Rating to 3-stars based on my experience after several weeks. This feeder has been very frustrating and far less than reliable but I THINK I may have found THE SECRET! The problem has been unreliable feeding of the liquid fertilizer from the bottle through the feeder. Sometimes a brand new, previously unopened bottle of liquid fertilizer would simply refuse to feed. Previously-opened bottles almost never worked. The secret seems to be getting the air out of the bottle first. I seem to be able to get reliable liquid fertilizer flow following these steps; I connect the Liquafeed feeder to my garden hose and turn on the water. The feeder is not 'turned on yet. Then I screw a bottle of liquid fertilizer into the feeder. Next I hold the bottle with the neck pointing up so all the air in the bottle is at the neck of the bottle. Now I squeeze the bottle to force out the air. I realize this seems counter-intuitive as you'd think it would create suction against the flow of liquid fertilizer through the feeder. But, this seems to be critical for consistent, reliable results. Still squeezing the bottle, I turn the bottle over so the Liquafeed feeder is in position for use and start the water flow through the feeder. You should immediately see a significant flow of large air bubbles into the bottle. Using this method I've been able to get reliable results (so far). I actually like this feeder. It's just SO temperamental. No matter what I tried, results have been hit or miss, at best. But THIS particular method seems to be producing consistent fertilizer flow through the Liquafeed feeder whether I use new or previously-opened bottles.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Works right up until it doesn't :[ I had a nozzle, used it a few years, loved it. This year, in the middle of a fertilizer bottle it stopped taking fertilizer. I bought a new nozzle, same thing - sometimes fertilizes, sometimes doesn't. So frustrating. So, sometimes I'm just watering, sometimes I'm fertilizing when I really want to be fertilizing all the time. Miracle-Gro stop selling cheap junk that doesn't work!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sprayer, but operational design flaw I really liked the sprayer in the kit, perfect settings and comfortable design. However, during about my 4th use, all routine. Then the trigger released funnily and water began gushing out of the handle. The trigger wouldn’t pop back into off position. Something broke. I took it apart to see that this spring casing popped open at the stable end. It looks as if the end cap is just glued onto the casing cylinder (now unglued). The olastic ring of the cap does not appear to be broken off, just popped off. It is a stiff spring and I can’t repair with Cragle.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from MOST Frustrating Feeder EVER! I'm 64 years old. I've used Miracle Grow products since I was a kid. I grow thousands of trees, shrubs and perennials on our rural estate. I asked my wife to pick up a Miracle Grow hose-end feeder, the kind that uses the water soluble Miracle Grow and Miracid products. She brought home one of those along with this new Liquafeed hose-end feeder. The first time I used it, it worked perfectly. Went through four bottles of liquid in less than an hour and fertilized lots of plants. I bought about 24 more bottles. Nothing but total frustration ever since. I think I've finally discovered the design flaw that causes this device to be absolutely unreliable after the first use. The bottle of fertilizer screws into the feeder over a raised "port" with a very tiny orifice-like hole to regulate the flow of liquid fertilizer as water flows through the feeder. I think that, after the first use, the liquid fertilizer sets up, or maybe crystallizes in that orifice. At any rate, after the first use you'll fight this thing like crazy trying to get liquid fertilizer flowing out of the bottle. It is truly maddening! I've fought this for a month now. Each time I can FINALLY get it to work but only after squeezing the bottle, pounding on the end of the bottle, changing bottles time and again (including brand new bottles that refuse to feed). I can usually get the fertilizer feed flowing but it takes a huge amount of time and effort. Not worth it! Do NOT buy this piece of junk! At least not until they fix the design flaw. I'm going to try enlarging the orifice ever so slightly. I'm sure that will change the concentration of fertilizer to water but it's basically close to worthless now. I'm also going to try to figure out a way to flush the orifice after each use. Thinking of removing the cap from a used bottle, carefully cleaning that bottle completely, filling it with clean water or perhaps something that might dissolve the fertilizer residue, reinstalling the cap and marking the bottle "WATER". Then I'll install that bottle of clean water immediately after I finish fertilizing to see if I can keep the orifice clean. May not work but it's worth a try. I would GIVE this Liquafeed hose-end sprayer and the twelve unused bottles of fertilizer to someone but there's just no one on earth I hate that much!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed in feeding apparatus I’ve always used your fertilizer and attachments for over 30 years and it’s fabulous!! However I’m having a problem with the attachment with the liquid dispenser; it’s fine for about 15 minutes then I notice it’s filling up with water and I don’t know what’s wrong with it; I bought a new one last summer because of the same problem and the year before the same; is it meant just for part of a season? As I recall it happened last summer when it was only 2 months old?
