Leakproof my posterior.
This thing leaked from the get go. My grandson tried to used it for juice. He's 7. It came in a multi-pack along with a leak-proof water chug that worked fine. I kept trying to use it. Was washed in the dishwasher to sanitize it, top inverted (no heat dry) and eventually the rubber gasket in the top started falling out. Leaked already before it was dishwasher cleaned. Gave up and threw it away. Too bad it leaked.

Liquid shoots out the top (child size)
We have the pink chug bottle for a child with no straw which is amazing and the one with a straw which has a major flaw. We've only ever put water in it but if it warms up at all and the lid is closed, the fluid shoots out of the straw lid as soon as you open it. My daughter has some sensory issues and the wet clothing that resulted in this caused a bit of a meltdown more than once - because I forgot the first time and used it for car rides a second and third time.
I will say that I love the non-metal options that Rubbermaid has because my daughter has metal allergies. I've been a longtime fan of their simple and efficient water bottle designs. I'll keep buying their products but don't recommend the straw.

Great product, awesome features
I bought two of these water bottles for my kids and I am very pleased! The bottle itself is sturdy and fits a lot of water. There is a handle which is great. The design of the spout is the best part. You fold it down under a cover so it is not exposed to the outside germs, it even clicks to lock. It is pretty much leak proof if the straw is inserted properly. I see a lot of people complain about the built-up pressure, but that happens (rarely) only when you actually open the spout. I've never had it leak in my bag.
If it ever came with a stainless steel body, I would buy it in a heartbeat. I am currently searching for one, and there is nothing close.

Not really leak proof
This cup is leak proof if the straw is down in the locked position. But be very careful when opening the straw. If the liquid has warmed up any, the built up pressure can cause the liquid to spray out when it it opened or if the straw is left open it can push the liquid slowly out the straw as the pressure builds. I would not recommend this cup for young kids.

LEAK & Comes out spout
I bought this 3 days ago, and it has been nothing but a problem.
1. Leaked in the diaper bag
2. If sit too long on my daughter tray without a sip, it starts to come out the top.
This is NOT leak free by any means. Back to Contigo I go.

Tough bottle!
I bought the blue one a year ago. It is the only leakproof bottle my son has not broken by smashing on the ground. It is leakproof only if the cap is snapped down.

Disappointed-Lea proof chug spout 14oz waterbottle
I bought 2 of these leakproof chug spout 14oz water bottles for my grandkids. What a dissappoint! It leaks if cup sits and builds up pressure in the spout so that when you open it the liquid sprays out. Also if left open it starts to pool in the top and can spew out.Rubbermaid brand name usually means quality but not this time.
