Waste of money
The straps melting off our blankets is not a common occurrence. -Traeger
That’s weird. If that’s the case then why does every review state that their straps melted just like mine did.

Poor strap quality
Used the cover three times during the winter months (only below 32 as recommended). The straps still melt off of the hooks. Very poor quality for a company that prides itself in branding and quality. 110% would not recommend. I understand that they will not warrant the product either. I bought this just before Thanksgiving last year, less than a year.

Straps melted at 300
I have only had this blanket for a few months and the straps melted off the clips at 300 degrees. No good. Not worth the money.

Not built to last
Rated to 350 degrees. Okay. What do I cook at 350 or less. Bad design. Rate it to the grill ability.

Straps melted
I bought this about 2 months ago. I haven’t used the grill but only 3-4 times and the straps have all melted. How do you make a grill blanket with straps that melt?

Poor design
Straps are melting. This cover should be able to stand up to the heat of the BBQ.
This cover is meant to be used while the BBQ is on to keep heat in. It shouldn't melt when being used!

Traeger Insulation Blanket
We used this for the first time this winter. Found that it made an improvement in maintaining the heat throughout the cooking time. The straps did not fit, but it is well sew and the fabric is hefty. Kind of pricey though. It's a good additional accessory for cooking in the winter in Michigan.

Works great in cold temps!
My wife got me one of these as a Christmas gift. It definitely helps maintain temp in cold weather. Its been between 34 and 45 degrees out while smoking this morning. I have the Traeger set on 300 and it has stayed between 298 and 306 all morning. Our ribs are done in the normal time of 2-3 hours!
