Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for what I needed I purchased this hole saw to cut through ceiling dry wall and 3/4 in. plywood subfloor in an attic to run multiple cables.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from quick conect sucked I bought the 1-1/4 hole saw two days ago I started to use it the quick connect was loose the hole saw only lasted two holes, cut a hole 1-3/8 , teeth broke off. I used a drill press at a speed of 200 with cutting oil on 3/8 plate steel . Quick connect would not work when taken apart would not allow me to reinstall hole saw, but the drill bit was great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Steel saw Used a 2” saw to cut 1/2” steel. Made one hole at 280 rpm in a machine press with lots of fluid. After the first hole half the teeth were gone. Was able to make one more hole and all the teeth were done. Would not recommend for steel. The chuck system is pretty decent though.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from fast in steel did 1.5 inch holes in half inch steel. very aggressive. clamped solid at 120 rpm drill press with cutting oil, it bombed after 5 holes. all carbides were gone. sharpened what was left but the steel was to soft to cut anymore. A typical essab bit lasted ten holes and was still going strong for 1/4 of the price. recommend it for wood though.
