Rated 5 out of 5 by from Leave it during first mowings. If you keep the area lightly watered twice a day the grass does really well. 3” on two weeks. I just mowed right over it on the highest setting. I did eventually remove the straw mat after two months. The netting helped the roots get a good start into the new soil.
