Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product!! I purchased this little tiller about a year ago and have now used it to till up my little garden space twice. It was great to start with just getting the weeds out of the spot before hand and then I bring in bagged garden soil to combine. It makes very deep till lines and mixes up the garden soil and the regular soil very well and mixed it evenly. I was amazed at the power and depth of this little machine! And I’ve had a TroyBilt 5Hp Pony before. This little ol’ electric cultivator work was almost equal. In my opinion, that is saying something! I would definitely recommend this item to a friend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Raised Beds This little tiller is just perfect for my raised garden beds. It is light enough to lift into the beds and powerful enough to till in mulch all the way to the bottom. Leaves me with nice garden dirt every time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Electric Cultivator I just received mine this week. East to set up and looked just as described. Tried it out on a section of the garden. It didn't work very well as the tines turned too quickly to dig into the area. It just scuffed at the ground and threw small dust particles out the back of the unit. I see no way to slow the times, so Ill try it again next week and return it if there's no performance change. I'm a bit disappointed as this looked perfect for the small gardens around our house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My "Little Mule" This cultivator is amazing. Plenty of power, easy to maintain and manuever, and it does the job well. I have used many TB tillers over the years but this is by far my favorite for a family size garden. I tried a friend's cultivator (not TB) and it bounced up and down and didn't do any work. My male neighbors stop and watch whenever I bring out my Little Mule and they are amazed too!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It is what it is Before my original purchase I read many reviews. One stated specifically that I could use this item for the purpose I has in mind. I did. My first unit lasted about 60 hours before the gear box seized. I was told I used the unit for a purpose beyond it was designed. It is good, but not that good. It is what it is. It still was cheaper to purchase two of these than a cultivator that is "designed" for my purpose. If all goes as planned I probably will buy another.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 2420 - Chute control range not adequate I assembled my 2420 per the operator's manual. I used it for the first time in January's East Coast snow storm. Unfortunately, the range of the chute control is approximately 8 o'clock to 1 o'clock which is not adequate when working clearing the drive or working around the exterior of the house. It needs an arc range of 8 o'clock to 3 or 4 o'clock to handle in close conditions. When the wind is blowing from the North, I have to create a single path for thrower to the street and then only use the thrower in one direction throwing away from the wind. You cannot use it in both directions due to the 1 o'clock limit. My old Snapper had the 8 o'clock to 3 o'clock arc. I only rated it 'Good' in Performance and Ease of Use due to the above condition.
