Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't last one season I bpought these at the beginning of the season to wear while snowblowing as I have a driveway that gets icy. I chose the Diamond Grip because they were advertised as good for transitional surfaces, for people that encounter dirt, gravel and bare concrete. Today is February 9th and they're shot. The "aircraft quality" cables in the heel area broke on both of them. After having a pair of the professional style yaktrax for quite a few years until they wore out, I thought these would be an upgrade. I was completely wrong.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't last a season I bought this for the 2019 winter season in Montreal. They work great but don't last. After 1 month they fell apart. Stupidly I bought another pair for the 2020 winter. Same thing. I have been wearing them for only ONE month and this is what they look like. By the way, I rinse off the salt each time after wearing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Used these on a recent trip to Lake Winnipeg. There was lots of exposed ice and they were life savers. I tried walking around with and without the diamond grips and felt totally comfortable when I had them on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Get a grip! Walking our dog on ice covered paths has been very challenging this year because of all the snow we received. These are the most stabilizing trex’s I have ever used. I’m 66 with big feet, size 14 and walk the pooch 1.5 miles per day. I wore out the last pair of lighter weight Trex last year. And wanted something more aggressive than what I had before.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good traction Not super easy to put on, but excellent grip. There's a lot of ice around here.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than original I think these work pretty well. I like them much better than the regular coil YakTrax. They run smaller than they say though. The size I got said it would fit up to a size 13 and it won't fit my size 12 boots so I wear them on my shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Diamond Grips In January and February, when our ranch roads and corrals turn to solid ice, the Diamond Grips are the only traction devices that will allow me to work without sliding or falling. I’ve tried the chains and the wire coil types of Yaktrax, and they’re fine for hard packed snow, but for serious traction on glare ice, I go with the Diamond Grips.
