Not for heavy things.
I bought this because I’m a senior who can no longer throw a sack of cement over one shoulder and a bale of alfalfa over the other. I need help getting a 42-lb box of cat litter into the house.
First, the device wouldn’t stay “open”; it kept collapsing in on itself. Trying to avoid work, I guess. First box I put on it—42 lbs, not the 150 lbs this thing is rated—almost made the toe plate bend downward. I was afraid to add a second box to the load.
On the plus side, it’s well made, and comes with its own bungee cord. But it’s more suited to bringing in the dry cleaning, not a box of books or groceries. I’ll be returning this and getting something sturdier.
