Works perfectly AND has unexpected added benefit!
I have a 2- by 4-foot vinyl-coated-metal cage for my cat. I stretched fine screen over it to keep the bugs out (wasps, bees, mosquitos, etc.). I used the mounting tape to close the open places at the seams of the screen, but had to have a flap to open and close the door on the front. Not only did the mounting tape keep the seams closed (through rain, wind, and snow), but it also allows me to pull the screen open in order to open the door, and then re-seals repeatedly without giving way. The unexpected added benefit: any bugs that attempt to crawl/fly in stick to the tape and are unable to enter. Great job, Scotch/3M!

What a waste of time and Money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I purchased and used this tape to mount a light strip to the underside of a cabinet. Less than four days later the tape had lost it's adhesion to the cabinet. This was a huge waste of time and money. I would absolutely NOT recommend this product~

Plexiglass basketball backboard
I have tried twice now with two different rolls of the outdoor double sided tape to mount a thick plexiglass basketball backboard to the existing frame. The backboard comes loose after very little use. The tape sticks fine to the metal frame, but will not adhere to the plexiglass. Both surfaces were cleaned with SD11 cleaner/degreaser. The outdoor temperature has not been above 90degF and not below 50degF. The original backboard was attached with two-sided tape, so I'm baffled why this won't work.
