pants fit true to size wast and inseam. however the relaxed fit is a bit too baggy for my taste. the leg opening is big enough that they run under my boot heel and i could see that destroying the pant hem

Loose Fit Washed Duck Double Front Utility Work Pan
Love these pants, they are heavy duty for the ranch work I do here. Also Carhardt is one of the only places I can get my odd sizes. So thank you for that. I will order again.

Heart broken
These are nice pants but not the same as all the others Ive bought ,, material has changed, and not for the better,, but the others were made in the US and these are not. If you think these will be like the older ones that" you had to run over with your car to break in" you will be disappointed. Sadly this will be my last purchase of this legendary pant.

Not durable enough
I was disappointed in these pants. I made sure to buy the double fronts, in the thickest material, in the men's section because I wanted them to be as durable as possible. In two months I've blown out both layers of both knees, and had blown both layers of one knee in about one month. The material also rips really easily when it has any contact with metal. As a framer, these pants do not hold up. Also, there is no convenient spot for a pencil besides the back pocket.
One redeeming factor is that they only cost 60 on here, but at my local store they cost 100, so there's that. And, as I said, they did last about two months.

Not pleased
I do not like them.
I wanted heavier material like canvas like every pair I’ve bought in the past.
My entire closet is filled with Carhartt.
Even my sweatshirts and hoodies.
That will have to change if your quality of material has gone doen the toilet.

Cell Phone Don't Fit No More
I just bought 3 pairs of your pants like have for a decade, same ones. Unfortunately, I bought them online and not in a retail store. Seems you have redesigned the pants and now the side pockets are smaller, which don't fit my cell phone anymore. I will have to send them back for a refund. How do I do that?

Nice pants. Pretty durable
Nice pants. They look nice but aren't as strong as I hoped. I've been wearing holes through the knees in a few months. I don't wear knee pads but if I used the pads that fit in the pants they would still wear fast. This is just keeping up maintenance on my property, woodwork and repairing my vehicles. I hoped to get more time out of these but they are still stronger then most. I read people saying they have pants last them years. They must not do any physical on the ground work with them. I'm lucky to get 10 months before they have holes through the knees. Still my favorite and will continue to buy

Almost Perfect!
Great work pants. I only wish there was a cut between straight leg, which fits like skinny jeans, and loose fit, which is pretty baggy. But I love wearing them!

Great Pants, Terrible Service
Listen, the pants are great, but I got the wrong size, and multiple attempts through the website to return them and get a size that works lead to zero communication from Carhartt. So make sure you get the right size, because you'll have no chance to change that. Guess I'll be donating these awesome pants to my local resale shop.

Bring back the moss colored loose double front pants please!
Will you bring back the B136 in Moss 34x34 ? These pants in this color is best for work. The black gets to hot and shows dirt, The brown gets to turn like a purple over time not a great color over time. The carhartt brown is just to light for work. Love the knee pads on my knees a lot as a boiler tech/plumber.

Wonderful, with a couple caveats
They're the classic Carhartts — thick canvas, loose-fitting, mid-to-high-waisted, and with all the pockets you could dream of. Only two issues:
1. They only have 5 belt loops. (Two at the front, two at the side, and one at the back.) It really needs two more loops at the back — when pants sag, that's where they sag. I'm sure it would only cost 75 cents more per pair for this improvement.
2. Why doesn't Carhartt make a suitable version of these for women? I've tried Carhartt's "women's" version of these pants and a few others; they're low-rise, made of thinner canvas, and aren't truly loose-fit. Carhartt: please just make these exact pants with a more pronounced wait-to-hip ratio. No smaller pockets, no different fabric — just like this, with one slight difference. Your women customers would thank you. In the meantime, I'm taking these to a tailor to take in the waistband.
