WAY too baggy!
I've worn these exact pants since high school (I'm 41). Overall a great work pant that has been durable and comfortable with years of wearing them. I went to buy my normal size that I always get from my local hardware store after my last pair finally wore out (5 years old). Holy baggy! The "loose" fit are like parachute pants. It was ridiculous how big these were. What happened to the original fit? These pants used to be the best thing around…don't fix something that isn't broken.

pants fit true to size wast and inseam. however the relaxed fit is a bit too baggy for my taste. the leg opening is big enough that they run under my boot heel and i could see that destroying the pant hem

Loose Fit Washed Duck Double Front Utility Work Pan
Love these pants, they are heavy duty for the ranch work I do here. Also Carhardt is one of the only places I can get my odd sizes. So thank you for that. I will order again.

Heart broken
These are nice pants but not the same as all the others Ive bought ,, material has changed, and not for the better,, but the others were made in the US and these are not. If you think these will be like the older ones that" you had to run over with your car to break in" you will be disappointed. Sadly this will be my last purchase of this legendary pant.
