Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am pleased with the product. It has taken some back and forth to get to sizing. I'm not a huge user of online clothing shopping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have worn these for many years and have found them to be satisfactory. I tried the rugged flex pants, which were comfortable enough, but they didn't hold up. So I am back to the old reliables.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from True to Size Waist and inseam measurements were true to size. I didn't find that they run big or small. That was my experience. The duck material is very nice - rugged and comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fit beautifully and always look good, professional, clean. But look professional because of the good fit. Makes a very good impression.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Pants If You Don't Need The Knee Pads Let me start with the positive. These pants are thick and durable, yet soft and comfortable. However, they are very baggy, which is good to an extent because you have the freedom to move, bend, etc. But these are a bit too baggy. However, this is not my primary complaint. If it were just the baggy issue, I would have ordered another couple of pairs. The major problem for me are the knee pads. If I assembled a team of people and we tirelessly worked for a month to devise the very worst design for knee pads, this is what we would come up with. It's exceedingly difficult to get them in and in the proper place, but then they also keep sliding down and eventually coming out of the small opening. Putting it back in place is a whole ordeal as well-you almost certainly have to take the pants off to do it properly. If having knee pads is important to you, these are definitely not the right pants. If not, I would give it a thumbs up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Shrank With Intention I purchased these from a local Boot Barn store, where they had a large variety of sizes in stock. The tag on the pants says Made in the USA, which I appreciate. The legs were 1" longer than the stated size and rather baggy. I soaked the legs in hot water and then ran the pants through the washer and dryer. I took measurements before and after. After on hot water soak, wash and dry, the legs shrank 2" in length and each leg shrank 1/2" in width. The waistband shrank 1/2" but I was careful to keep it out of the hot water. I then compared the post-shrank measurements with an older pair of loose fit double knee Carhartts and they were the same dimensions. So, if you're looking for the old pre-washed fit, you can achieve it at home. I do wish that Carhartt would bring back the relaxed fit in these. I'm not the biggest fan of Rugged Flex.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth Every Penny!! My husband LOVES these pants. They are the 3rd pair he has had. One pair he wore for about 10 years. His most recent pair he wore for almost 18 years! Tore a hole in them with a chain saw, but just patched them up from the other side with an iron-on. Nurerous other holes didn't bother him much. The hems finally raveled so badly I had to trim them each time I washed them. Believe it or not, these are positive comments. HE WORE THE PANTS FOR 18 YEARS!! Every time he did yard work, every time he did a dirty job, every time he had something to do that he couldn't wear something nice. We're talking 2 -5 days a week! And it too 18 years to wear them out! Buy these pants.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from WAY too baggy! I've worn these exact pants since high school (I'm 41). Overall a great work pant that has been durable and comfortable with years of wearing them. I went to buy my normal size that I always get from my local hardware store after my last pair finally wore out (5 years old). Holy baggy! The "loose" fit are like parachute pants. It was ridiculous how big these were. What happened to the original fit? These pants used to be the best thing around…don't fix something that isn't broken.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from pants fit true to size wast and inseam. however the relaxed fit is a bit too baggy for my taste. the leg opening is big enough that they run under my boot heel and i could see that destroying the pant hem

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loose Fit Washed Duck Double Front Utility Work Pan Love these pants, they are heavy duty for the ranch work I do here. Also Carhardt is one of the only places I can get my odd sizes. So thank you for that. I will order again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Heart broken These are nice pants but not the same as all the others Ive bought ,, material has changed, and not for the better,, but the others were made in the US and these are not. If you think these will be like the older ones that" you had to run over with your car to break in" you will be disappointed. Sadly this will be my last purchase of this legendary pant.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not durable enough I was disappointed in these pants. I made sure to buy the double fronts, in the thickest material, in the men's section because I wanted them to be as durable as possible. In two months I've blown out both layers of both knees, and had blown both layers of one knee in about one month. The material also rips really easily when it has any contact with metal. As a framer, these pants do not hold up. Also, there is no convenient spot for a pencil besides the back pocket. One redeeming factor is that they only cost 60 on here, but at my local store they cost 100, so there's that. And, as I said, they did last about two months.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not pleased I do not like them. I wanted heavier material like canvas like every pair I’ve bought in the past. My entire closet is filled with Carhartt. Even my sweatshirts and hoodies. That will have to change if your quality of material has gone doen the toilet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cell Phone Don't Fit No More I just bought 3 pairs of your pants like have for a decade, same ones. Unfortunately, I bought them online and not in a retail store. Seems you have redesigned the pants and now the side pockets are smaller, which don't fit my cell phone anymore. I will have to send them back for a refund. How do I do that?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If it ain’t broke don’t fix it Same old great Carthartt double knees. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. What else is there to say?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pants Good pair of pants. Very comfortable, rugged. been wearing them for years Why are they being discontinued? Why does it seem like all the 100% cotton duck pants are going away ?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice pants. Pretty durable Nice pants. They look nice but aren't as strong as I hoped. I've been wearing holes through the knees in a few months. I don't wear knee pads but if I used the pads that fit in the pants they would still wear fast. This is just keeping up maintenance on my property, woodwork and repairing my vehicles. I hoped to get more time out of these but they are still stronger then most. I read people saying they have pants last them years. They must not do any physical on the ground work with them. I'm lucky to get 10 months before they have holes through the knees. Still my favorite and will continue to buy

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost Perfect! Great work pants. I only wish there was a cut between straight leg, which fits like skinny jeans, and loose fit, which is pretty baggy. But I love wearing them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from came fast, great fit great fit. had the size we needed and came quickly. We were replacing an old pair but just needed a larger size so already knew what we were getting. Previously purchased a size that wasn't quite right and it was very easy to return.
