Manufacturer Name DIAMOND PET FOODS
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Anymore I have a ~1.5 y/o Australian Cattle Dog mix whom I've been feeding this to since I got him a few months ago. He's never really liked it or enthusiastically eaten it. Sometimes he would skip entire meals because he just wasn't interested in it. His previous owner often fed him human food, though, so I just chalked it up to that. However, recently I found out about a new lawsuit against Taste of the Wild, due to high amounts of lead in their kibble. I did some researching and found out TOTW has had a similar lawsuit last year, and the parent brand, Diamond Pet Foods, has a long list of past recalls. I'm not sure of the validity of the claims in the newest lawsuit, but considering their history...I'm not going to take any chances. I switched to another brand, and my dog eats much more enthusiastically now. I will say, however, that other than these lead/heavy metal problems, TOTW is pretty good. 32% minimum protein is really good compared to the average dog food, and the ingredients are solid (no corn, gluten, dyes, by-products, etc.). While eating TOTW, my dog was healthy, energetic, and had a beautiful coat and clean white teeth, so kudos. I would have kept him on it, but I don't want to take any chances!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Helps my old dog’s digestion We discovered Taste of the Wild years ago, and our older dog with skin and stomach issues improved soon after we began feeding TOTW. After the questionable negative report on “grain free dog food” we switched to a reputable dog food w/grains-almost immediately skin and stomach issues (vomiting & diarrhea) returned. Soon after switching back to Wetlands Formula, my 14 year old dachshund “Slick” has a nice coat and a calm stomach.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from what I purchase for my bull mastiff and cats Good quality food, but I don’t see quail on the ingredient list for the canine waterfowl as cited. I do supplement the mastiff and cats with venison, raw bones and bone broth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from one picky dog is happy I have two big dogs a german shepard mix and a newfie mix. The german shepard is picky who only eats certain meats and anything like/similar to chicken isn't one of them. I bought the sample size to see how they would react to the flavor and my german shepard can't eat it quick enough. He usually waits for me to feed my other dog before he starts eating but not with this brand. When I run out of the sample size bag I will be buying the big bag

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Made dog sick He has been eating taste of the wild venison food a awhile. I decided to switch his flavor to fowl and now he gets really sick and is throwing up constantly. He is still drinking and eating but he gets really sick only after eating the fowl food.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Healthy dog! I discovered TOTW Wetlands kibble after using 4Health Turkey and Potato for a couple of months. My rescue's coat had improved with 4Health but his skin was still somewhat dry, flaky and itchy. I'm thrilled with the improvement! We get compliments on his healthy appearance everywhere we go, and he loves eating Wetlands. And we can afford it!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Product does not include Taurine Hello, The bag of this recipe I am buying in Minnesota do not have Taurine on the ingredient list. Given the recent FDA warning, that is concerning given that this site advertises that Taurine is included.
