Let's be clear
The active ingredient is a preventative, not a curative. It won't kill active fungus. There are curative products but you as a homeowner can't buy them. I'm a farmer. I buy both and mix them. If it seems like spots are going away, it's because fungus completely destroys grass, then new growth fills in. It takes time.

Summer Patch Lawn Fungus
I applied DiseaseEx as recommended several weeks ago. It seems to have stopped the summer lawn fungus. I also applied Scott's Summertime Weed and Feed. Lawn looking better still getting a lot of weeds. I will reapply soon.

This product worked fairly well. I have a section of my front lawn that appears to be "brown patch" (although I'm not sure how to tell if that is what it really is) and I applied Scotts DiseaseEx. While it did not completely get rid of the brown patch it did seem to reduce the amount.

On zoysia
My zoysia was green in the spring of 2022. But in June 1/6 of my yard suddenly turned yellow to brownish gray. I tried this product and after 2 weeks I’m seeing a couple of 2”x2” green areas. Still concerned bud watching since I’m not adding anything in this ‘ hurry up and wait‘ for the green to come back!

Works great within a week lawn is already better.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Follow the directions on the bag. Use it 2 times a year and it eliminated several brown spots caused by fungus and rot. Also used with grubex throughout the year and focus now is only on weed control. Don't expect it to be perminant without some work on understanding what's going on in your lawn. With grubs and weed control I could find out what was causing the brown spots caused by fungus. This cleared up the lawn within a week or two.

This stuff is GREAT!!!
I have recommended this product to everyone I know with St. Augustine grass. I have been using Disease X for about two years now. It’s very easy to use and only takes a small amount to treat your grass. One bag lasts me over a year. Once I apply it, my grass begins to show signs of improvement within a couple of days. I was happily surprised by the effectiveness of this product. I think I had red thread on a patch of our lawn. I applied this product in late June 2021 and after about 3 weeks the reddish brown spots had all gone. Check out the before and after photos. I guess it could have been other factors like the weather, and I used about 4x as much product as the packet said, but we're very happy with the way the lawn looks now.
