Worst repellent ever
I purchased this when the brand I use was out of stock (which successfully has kept the deer out of my gardens for years). Used as directed, my gardens were decimated in days. Huge waste of money

TOTALLY WORTHLESS!!!
Planted tomatoes. Faithfully sprayed them with this product. Ready to pick. Sprayed at 8PM. Came out next morning nothing left but stems. Also sprayed flowers. Gone also.

Our Hostas Look Like Stalks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife has been spraying our hostas and other plants quite often, but something (deer, rabbit, other?) is still munching on our hostas. I can't say for sure if this product has repelled the deer, but something is still eating our plants.

Called deer repellent but should say attracts deer
I bought this product about one month ago. I will never buy it again. The deer ate most of my flowers the very first night I used it, repsrayed next day and the deer came back for what they missed the night before. When they regrew and started to bud sprayed again with very poor results. Will never purchase again and would not recommend to anyone!

Ineffective
Too bad there is not a zero rating for this product! The deer used it as salad dressing on my hosts, day lilies, sunflowers and all other greenery in my yard! I applied it every day, after rain, and it still did not deter the deer from enjoying the buffet! Since we are all stuck at home , I was looking forward to enjoying my yard even more this year! I am VERY DISAPPOINTED in this product!

Plants, veggies, leaves -All gone!!
Lost tomatoes, veggies, leaves off new bushes. Dozens of plants destroyed ( 2 pics posted) Sprayed 8 hrs before.....suggest , buy another product .

Easy to apply, smell OK for humans
I got tired of using Liquid Fence - it smells horrible, has a white milky look on plants, and the applicators either would break, jam or never work. The Tomcat product ha a minty smell, and the battery operated wand makes application easy. If the battery runs low, they can be easily changed (two AAs). The product appears to be effective although I find I have to spray more often then the manufacturer recommends. Perhaps we have a lot of aggressive deer in our neighborhood.

Tomcat Repellents Dear Repellent Ready to Use

Does NOT Work!
If you value your plants, do not waste your money on this product.
We sprayed our walk lined Hosta plants 4 days ago and lost most if not all of the vegetation last night. Will be returning this to the store for a refund, but my wife is sick over the loss. This Sucks!

Does not work at all
This did not work at all. I had better result with Liquid Fence. My hostas, roses, hydrangea and all other flowering plants are gone despite me spraying them often and generously. Super disappointed.

Bought this at Home Depot because they were out of repellents I usually buy.. Not nearly as pungent as those repellents and does not work as well. Applied on a Tuesday night and on thursday most of my hostas were gone. I'd send a picture but don't see how.
Will not buy again.

Leave my flowers alone!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in a wooded area with many deer but this seemed to work for awhile but I think I needed to reapply after the heavy rain and when I watered my flower beds. It seemed to be a good product but I think a couple of good hunters is what I really need to just eliminate this herd who seem to enjoy my flowers!

Worked OK
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know deer repellents are tough and this was the case here. It did work but not as long as the package said it would. I have deer trouble being in central New Jersey and have tried many things to discourage those darn deer. The Tomcat worked well with rabbits and good for the deer for 2-3 weeks. The deer even eat plants in my yard that are supposed to be deer resistant so I was happy with the time I got. I still have some product left and will finish up this season and hopefully get better results

Like the smell, but have to apply frequently

Apple trees and the deer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had just planted some new apple trees up north at the cabin. Two years ago I planted apple trees and the deer head of field day. I sprayed this product around the trees and for the last month there has been no deer activity. All my leaves are still on the trees great product thanks.

Decent results
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this product recently and it appears to have made a difference, although it's difficult to tell or know when to re-apply. Deer are very persistent and somehow seems to know when the product has worn or washed off. It would be great if Scott's could somehow make this product not only waterproof, but also to provide some better longevity. I know, it's the same problem with most every product similar to this, but hey, we have ways to send people to outer space.........maybe another break through on this could be in the future.

Did NOT work!
We used this product for the first time since we could not find the product we normally use every year.
We used "Tomcat" per the instructions over the last 30 days, even having sprayed the plants several times and the deer still ate all our daylilies and Hostas. Every last one! We are very disappointed! This is the first year this has happened on such a large scale. It was as if we didn't apply anything.
We will return to using a product that we know works, Liquid Fence. Yes it may smell for a few days, but it works unlike this product.

The deer love this stuff - better called "deer Eat"
This is the first year we used this product. The deer have chewed all of our hosta's and various other plants. For several years we had used other products and never had an issue with deer eating the plants.
Note: this product was applied weekly. Would recommend not buying this product.

Pleasant Odor, effective.

I also have a lot of shade so Hostas are great plants for some areas of the yard. Other products to deter the deer also work but have a terrible odor. This product has a pleasant odor and is very effective and lasts a good while. Thanks Scotts.

Ease of use, seems to be repelling the deer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This repellent is surprisingly simple to use. As for results...I didn't immediately use the repellent after planting the flowers. Apparently, that same evening, there were deer tracks across the flower bed but fortunately no flowers damage. Seeing those tracks I decided to get the repellent and spray the area. After one week I can say there are no deer tracks and the flowers are intact. Let's hope this repellent continues to do the job throughout the summer!

My Hostas don't look like celery stalks!

I was about to give up, but I think I will start replanting flower beds that were decimated by giant field rats (AKA Whitetail Deer).
