What a piece of crap. Hasn't even worked 6 months. Replaced the battery once already. Wont open more than one door. Lid literally slides off the top of the unti everytime I use it. Cant believe this company has gone down the drain so fast. Might be looking elsewhere when this garage door dies.

Worked great after I stopped trying to hurry
Follow the steps one at a time. When you get to step #5 use the number you wrote down on step #2. The learn button on the back of my Genie door opener stopped blinking when I did it right. After you put in your 4 digit code use the 0 as your open key. I like the fact that no one will hit the slide up door if it is left open but as it is new I had to use a bit of force to slide it up & sent it flying. We'll see if that resistance eases with time. Otherwise seems to work great.

Works great, but cover came off and broke.
We have had this opener for a few months now and really like it. However, the cover got slid too high, came off and cracked when it hit the driveway. Is there anywhere I can order just a replacement cover? We do not need an e tire new keypad unit.

No longer connects to garage door opener
Worked at the beginning but will no longer open the garage door. I have replaced battery, tried to reset with learn mode using the following methods based on the Chamberlain video: Keypad, mounted display garage door opener, and the learn button on the actual garage door opener. Nothing works, very frustrating.

Love This Opener
Installation was super easy. Read paper instructions twice, watched on-line twice, dry ran instuctions twice, easy-peasy. I have this same Chamberlain opener on another building. It's worked flawlessly for 19 years through snow storms and hot days. I'm confident this opener will work just as well.

Reliable Remote
Bought my first unit in 2005. It finally gave out in 2022. Not bad for an outdoor product in coastal South Carolina.
The instructions don't show how to program an old opener with dip switches. Would have been nice if they had been included.
I thought this opener would control multiple doors, but I cannot find any instructions that would confirm. I thought my old one would control at least 2 doors.

Great Design ... HORRIBLE INSTRUCTIONS
Don't read the instructions that come with the remote....depend on the reviews on this site to help make it work for you. I was minutes away from trashing this remote or beating it to death with a hammer then discovered these reviews and helpful tips to get my remote working.
I cannot tell you what the exact magic was for me but the programming worked I first hit the LEARN button, followed all the instructions and then flipped the LEARN button off. Lights flashed and I was connected!!
NOTE: If you have the direct drive wall mount Chamberlain model use #8 for the model number

Instructions unclear, product works
Installation instructions were limited. I followed step by step multiple times with no luck . In searching to find out if my garage door opener was even compatible I found this trick: On wayne dalton 3222C-Z do not use the Learn button on rear. Instead use the red SW button on the side for step 4. Once I knew that, it worked in minutes.
