3M Interior Weather Sealing Tape
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 3M Interior Weather Sealing Tape is great for sealing up those drafty windows. With heating costs on the rise and living in an older home, it's important to close up those drafts so heat isn't lost. Be sure to clean the area before applying the tape. It's pretty clear, so it's not really noticeable or tacky looking. It has a thicker feel then regular tape, it's almost like a silicone feel to it. It did stick well and seems to provide a good seal. Removal was easy, when I messed up a little when applying. Easy to use and effective. Time will tell when temps dip below zero. So far I'm happy.

Good stuff
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for along a leaky seam in my screen door. Easy to install, it's been on for a little over a week and so far so good. The sealing tape has made a noticeable difference in keeping the cold out. Well made and durable, highly recommend.

It works
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks like regular packing tape, but seems to do a pretty good job of keeping the cold air out so far. Easy enough to install- didn’t take long and I like that you really can’t notice it unless you’re looking hard. I would give it a shot if you have leaky windows.

Easy to Use, Works Well

I have been replacing windows one at a time as money allows, but I obviously cant afford to heat the outside every winter. I got this tape last year to seal around my older windows. Loved it. Picked some up again this year. Applies easy and there is a noticeable difference.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used the 3M™ Transparent Weather Sealing Tape around our sliding doors. Getting started was a breeze, there is a little tab to pull. Unrolling he kept a steady pull, however it sticks quickly and adheres strongly, pulling it off can lift paint. Since I'm crafty I knew to heat the tape with a blow dryer and it came off easy .

Help Seal Up Windows
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the 3M Transparent Weather Sealing Tape to be a bit on the rubber side, which isn't a bad thing. Living in Wisconsin we make sure that all the leaks in windows and doors are sealed up for the winter. This is a nice option to use to make sure that you are keeping all the heat inside. This is pretty easy to use, but I noticed that after we had some rain it didn't want to stick to some of the areas anymore. This is a nice temporary fix to at least try. Or maybe use it in areas that won't get wet. You also need to use an alcohol wipe to get any sticky residue off too.

Works on seams or broken glass
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape is similar to packing tape but it is just a bit heavier. It seems to have a bit more rubbery feel than plastic feel. It is to be used seasonally for leaks around the seam of a window or door and the wood or metal framing. It keeps out the drafts that may occur around windows and doors. I think it would be a good temporary fix for cracked glass.

Great inexpensive way to stop drafts.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M transparent weather sealing tape works great! We leave the air conditioner in the kitchen window for the winter, it’s just too big to move. So we use 3M window seal to keep drafts out. We put the cellophane over the window, but the little tape strip never lasts. Now, we use the weather sealing tape, and it stays for months. You can use this alone, without the cellophane, for small cracks and drafts in windows and doors. Make sure the area is clean and dry, then secure the tape. To remove, gently pull the tape off slowly. If there is any sticky residue you can use rubbing alcohol to remove it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This transparent weather sealing tape is a great idea if you have drafty windows. Just clean the area with alcohol & cover the parts that need it. Its transparent so you don't notice it so much. Removal is the same, peel off & use alcohol for any sticky residue. Nice to have on hand.

Keeps the breeze out!

It is much thicker and feels more like silicone. It sticks well and did not leave any damage when removed from my test spot. I like that it is clear and inconspicuous. I think this is a great product for keeping the winter breeze out of the house.

The tape was easy to apply and immediately I noticed a decrease in the small draft coming in. The tape sticks very well to the door. I look forward to using this on a couple of my windows as well. Excellent tape for the home

easy fix for winterizing drafty windows
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a drafty window in my sunroom which I successfully sealed using plexiglass and this strong adhesive tape. It was easy to unroll and apply around the perimeter of the plexiglass, eliminating the need for nails or screws in the window frame. I highly recommend this sealing tape!

Keep the drafts away and stay warm this winter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the tape to seal around our west facing sliding patio door. This flexibility of this tape made sealing the entire door a quick and simple process.. Drafts are virtually gone with the patio door sealed with this tape. One issue with this tape is there is no tab on the beginning of the roll. This can make a challenge to find the start of the roll of tape.

Serves its' purpose
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this on our windows, which are roughly 20 years old. I was surprised when I opened the package. I really expected the tape to be thicker than it is. But it is a sealing tape and that is exactly what it does. We've used this over our bedroom windows and so far we haven't had any issues. It seems to stick well and does prevent the cold air from coming in through the tiny cracks.

Drafts have disappeared
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I had a little trouble getting this table started so I would like to see a little tag at the beginning of the roll to make it easy to get the roll started. This tape sticks very well and drafts disappear. Be careful with taking the tape off though because the adhesive can pull with it such as paint. I tested this in an inconspicuous spot. However, if I used a heat source such as a hair dryer on the tape before removing it, the tape did not take any paint with it.

Great product
I own an older home and one of my exterior doors doesn’t have a tight fit. I am very pleased with the way this 3M product helped me better seal that door and hopefully save on my energy costs. I’ve had the product for several months and I highly recommend this product to anyone that needs a little extra help with better energy efficiency for their home.

Works great, but removes paint!
I tried this tape last fall instead of the caulk-like product I usually use because I thought it would be easier to apply and remove.
It IS easier, and it does a great job sealing the windows, but it's spring now and when I removed it, lots of paint came with it. I am so, so unhappy about this!!
