Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sticks to it [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 3m transparent weather sealing tape works perfectly. I used it to put plastic over my windows when it got cold. It's is very sticky and holds up even against the wind. This 3m brand is a trusted brand. I really like this product and will definitely use it agaain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked well [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this 3M Transparent Weather Sealing Tape a few weeks ago to help seal my basement windows for the winter and it works very well so far. It applied easy and so far has not needed to be reapplied. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just Okay [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a window that wouldn't lock all the way after having a window air conditioner in it previously over the summer. I used several layers of this tape and could still feel cold air seeping through. Not very impressed. Guessing if it was wider and thicker it might Help?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 3M weather sealing tape is a great product. It is very easy to apply and seals around windows and doors that are drafty. I love the fact that the tape is clear. It is very easy to apply around corners and curved areas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does a great job! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in the Midwest which means during the winter season we can face some pretty frigid temperatures. Our windows aren’t the greatest, and we recently got hit with an arctic storm that before using this tape we would feel cold air coming in through the windows, but we noticed a huge difference with it, they weren’t drafty at all. This definitely helped keep our house at a comfortable temperature, it was easy and quick to apply, so definitely worth it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from stays put [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very surprised that the tape that I put around the vinyl seam in the inside is staying really well. I have not tryed to use it outside. I cant wait to use this tape on the aircondition unit this summer becaus after seeing how it worked around the window its going to be easy for me this year to seal the air unit

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well and easy to use [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately our 1 year old house still had drafty windows in our 4 year old's bedroom. I got this to tape the windows in the winter (we're in Chicago), and should have done it before the -30 degree temps (with wind chill) with this winter storm, but didn't get around to doing it before. So after the first night of it (and their room getting noticeably chilly), I decided to try it and wasn't sure what the results would be given the freezing temps and the ice that had already formed around the inside of the window. So, I used a hair dryer to melt any of the inside ice that formed, wiped it dry, and then I didn't have any rubbing alcohol (needed per the instructions) so I used disinfecting wipes instead to wipe the area I wanted to apply the tape. The tape was reasonably easy to apply, although it is pretty sticky, so I would probably bend it a little more towards where I want to cover (it does feel different than regular packing tape). A couple days later and still negative temperatures, the tape has still stuck and there's been little to no ice formed on the inside. And it seems to have kept the draft down. I plan to use this every year for this specific room (and one other room that gets drafty). And will tape all around the window - and hopefully do it early enough in the season!
