I rounded if off like the original handle came came. It now matches the older5 set That I have. Spend the money and build a nice knife. It can not cost that much to round over the edges on the handle. other than that I love the knife

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Knives! I have used the Chicago knives for years for processing meats and vegatables. I probably process between 600 and 800 pounds of meat a year. Although you have to resharpen or touch up the knives somewhat often when doing large processing jobs, the knives are easily kept sharp with a butcher steel. These knives are now assembled in china, but the same steel and materials are used in these knives as when they were made in the USA. I started using Chicago knives back in the 1980,s.
