Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it. I have two boxes holing my 141 and 61 chainsaw plus oil, manual and tool. The box comes with two scabbats in two different lengths, this is hardly mentioned anythere. The box inself is solid made and pretty light. So along with the saw the box with accessories, its still easy to carry. Since I am obliged to secure the saw while dricing to the cutting location, the box helps very much. Its easy to strap in down to the trunk floor. Then you to want to carry the saw without bar you can close the opeing for the bar with an insert. This is what I do when we have limited space in the trnk. We carry the bar underneath the floor of the trunk.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from needed a carry box Just acquired a 460 Rancher with a 24" bar. Saw is narrow and kept tipping over. Bought the case because of that. Considered modifying a cooler. Was easy to put together once I realized the instructions didn't say do the hinges first. Placed unit on floor with the outside facing up, inside on floor. Ends popped right on. Latches fit tight. Couldn't use scabbard since it is too short. But had a 24" scabbard so used it. Not perfect but provided protection. Added small chain to restrict lid opening since allowing it to open fully will eventually break off the hinges. Saw wiggles around a lot so padded some areas and stuffed chaps around saw to negate that. I am happy. Hinges will break off top if you are not careful! Cannot expect too much from a one size fits most.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bring a bigger hammer, and do the piano hinges first! ...cuz you're gonna need it. This thing requires a ton of force to assemble, because absolutely nothing fits together without being pounded into place. On the upside, it shows no scuffs after abusive assembly techniques have been applied. Point 2: completely ignore the assembly instructions. It is physically impossible to assemble this case if you follow their vague guidance. Point 3: assemble all of the piano hinges first - ALL! That's the trick to this entire exercise. Fail to do that, and it is not physically possible to drive them into place. Point 4: even though the instructions tell you to put the scabbard in place, DON'T DO IT. The only way to work with this is to put the scabbard on the saw, then drop the front panel of the case, put in the saw, and hammer the front panel back into place. Before you hammer in the hinges. After you've hammered in the piano hinges. Before you go out afterwards and get hammered. Question for Husky: why! why would you use plastic piano hinges on this? And if you were planning on using such garbage components, why would you design the hinges in such a way that they are filled with molding overflow and completely misalinged?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I expected This carrying case is very cheap. The hinges and latch are very poorly designed. The blade cover does little to protect the bar from bending and (when properly installed) the Husquvarna logo is upside down. Im a huge fan of Husqvarna so it makes me unhappy to write about the poor quality of this case.
