Works until the knobs snap off
This has worked for years - and still does... but I've had to replace it recently because the knobs are plastic and rather delicately attached to the sliders... and once you no longer have knobs its very hard to use the fan or light controller. By using cheap plastic with small attachements to the slider Hunter did not manufacture this controller to last. They also did not manufacture it to be easy to replace the parts. So I am replacing with a competitor's product with paddle controls.

Poor Design by Hunter for a light switch.
I had to replace this switch because it was designed poorly. The little plastic button for the light broke off. It snapped where the thin plastic piece comes through the slot. This switch gets a lot of use. It should be more robust.

SWITCH BROKE
Had one of these installed with Hunter fan. The knob broke off after a few years and now I have to replace it. The plastic knob cannot take repeated use and not repairable. Otherwise the switch works.

Dual slide control
It feels a little cheap, but it does what it’s supposed to do. The lights side is a little sensitive but this could be due to the lights. Either way, all the adjustment occurs in a very short part of the slide.
