Patched a pipe beautifully
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a hard freeze I had a pipe under the house break and had a week wait on a Plumber to come out to repair it. I used the Multi-Use Duct tape to patch it for the week and it's still holding. Worked perfectly! Super sticky and super hold.

Great Product

It holds strong and stays put, is easy to tear off the piece you want, has no residue that's left on my hands, like some, and doesn't stick to skin as you're trying to apply to what needs fixing, like some do. This product works great. I plan to buy soon and I recommend to all.

Strong and versatile.

Versatile tape, with strong hold!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this tape for a few weeks and have already used this tape to repair a few items - it is a large roll so will last a very long time! It seems to have a strong hold so far and I anticipate it will last longer than the tape it replaced.

Great product

Great Indoors and Outdoors!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this tape in an emergency. I was taking down Christmas lights and pulled down the siding off one of the walls. I used the tape to hold it up and it even held it in the rain! This tape is amazing. I also used it to keep the Christmas lights together. It tore nicely horizontally since I didn't need it so wide. I am recommending this tape to everyone!

The tape will stick to anything
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I taped up different things in my garage to cement and wood and both staying in place for days. I was able to re-use the tape from both the cement and the wood again with the one from the wood sticking much better because it was clean, but the ones stuck to the cement were a bit dirty when I pealed them off, but they still stuck to another surface, but just not as tight. No big deal for me because I was surprised it stuck at all with the left behind dirt from the cement. I also taped up a few objects to a metal beam in my house and it stayed in place for days as well. Tearing the tape was as expected it tore off easy and clean and when it folded over on itself I didn't have to bad of a time get it loose, but you could see where the glue was missing exposing the "thread" underneath. Having the missing glue didn't stop the tape from working at all it still stuck to the surface just fine and pealed off very clean.

Holds really well!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is going to sound a little bit trashy, but it was an emergency... my husband ran over something, causing part of the underside of his car to dislodge and hang down. We needed a quick fix so that he could make an appointment to get it fixed. This tape not only held everything in place, but it held for weeks! (Because he procrastinated). The black color made it blend in, so no one even knew! This tape held through driving, wind, rain, etc. I am so impressed!

Fixed my car!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this in my car trunk on an interstate drive. I ran over one of those big pieces of rubber that come off semi tires and could hear something dragging on my tire. I was upset to see that it was a piece of my car trim that was dragging, not the thing I ran over! I used a piece of duct tape to hold it together and haven’t even bothered to take the car in to be fixed. The tape isn’t budging. I don’t know what I would have done without it. I can’t tear the trim off a car.

Great Hold

Handy, but tear carefully.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of this tape to test its quality and utility. Mine was a basic black duct tape, similar in appearance to theatrical gaffing tape. I used it to repair and cover the splintering wooden handle of a hand saw and it did the job!
The one issue I've had is when tearing off pieces of tape, rather than cutting, the tape tends to want to split, lengthwise, into half-width straps. This could be due to the temperature of the product, which is a bit more rigid in cooler air.

strong and easy to remove from the roll
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the 3M Multi Use Duct Tape in the color black compliments of 3M. I was very pleased how easy it was to remove from the roll and rip off into strips without the use of scissors. I like that it can be ripped in half making thinner strips to use with wiring. It's the only roll of Duct Tape I will use now for multiple products around the home.

Nice evolution!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These new tapes are great- 3M sent me a couple of different rolls to try out, and these new duct tapes seem to have a different, more useful construction: easier to tear yet tougher in use- I have strips of this tape holding outdoor sunroom panels in place until I can fully repair them, and there’s been no budging at all- I can easily see this tape being a go-to household multi-use- Keep it up 3M!!
