It's ok
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 1 month ago, just wished the battery life on the charger last longer than 10 mins.

Great battery life
I was so sick of the gas powered weed trimmers. They would never run right and bog down when you pulled the trigger. These were brand new and every one was the same. I stopped at menards and saw this Toro trimmer/edger I thought to my self that would be the way to go but figured there was no way the battery would last. Toro proved me wrong I bought the thing in 2013 still on the original battery. I have always been able to get the whole yard done with just the one battery. So hats off to Toro they saved me a ton of headaches switching to battery over gas.

Battery failed on holding a charge
Charging lights in the back shows fully charged, but only supplied about 30 seconds of power.

Lousy battery
Purchased the Toro string trimer with toro 88502 battery 2 years ago. Used it maybe 15-20 times over that period. Such a joke a battery that costs the same amount as the unit itself.
I guess Toro just makes throw away products. I would not recommend this product.

Battery does not last long
When using the 88502 battery on blower or weed eater it only lasts 5 to 10 minutes then needs to be recharged. My Ryobi lasts 3 times longer with the small battery.

20v battery
I purchased a 20v battery for my yard blower. It came within days. It was the exact battery for the blower. It charged up right away and lasted like it is supposed to last.
