Flawed - interference with LED lightbulbs
I was able to get it online, no problem, but couldn't get it to operate the garage door opener. Called support, and was quite quickly routed to an articulate and helpful support agent. He walked me through the process, and hit the same obstacle as I had. Then he asked - does your opener have LED lightbulbs in it? It does - he asked me to remove them - success. It seems that LED lightbulbs interfere with the signal from the keypad. When the bulbs have just come on it seems to work, but as they heat up it definitely interferes with the keypad signal.
Fortunately, usually when you come home, the light on the opener will be off, so the keypad will work. But if you've been in the garage for a few minutes and have triggered the motion detector in the opener and then want to close the door with the keypad you're out of luck.
So I'd say that's a flaw with the device. I'll keep it because it mostly works, but they should have done better.

Not Working Like I thought It would.
You have to reset the codes constantly. Was told by customer support to get rid of any LED bulbs close to it and it would work properly. I am still having problems. I am going to replace it with a standard keypad.

Disappointing
I have used MyQ for 4 years now and it is disappointing. I have re-set it dozens of times because it frequently goes offline. It is a pain to do it so often.

Added level of safety
Just installed it so far so good. Trying to figure out how to get a better range on viewing wish. Did it come with a back up battery?

Pros and Cons. Cons win!
Pro: video quality. Cons: battery life & recharging; audio quality. The battery does not last very long. To recharge the battery you need to remove it from garage and connect battery to electrical outlet. Also, there have been many occasions when I review motion history — it’s empty. If I wait and try later, all the history appears. The device is only held in place with a tiny screw; anyone can easily remove the video keypad; not secure.
Conclusion: improvement to battery, audio, and secure attachment needs to be done before I can enthusiastically recommend.
