It is formulated for setting frames, faucets and basket strainers on natural surfaces including granite, marble, quartz, sandstone and other natural, porous materials. Oatey Stain-Free Plumber's Putty is a stain-free sealant for setting most types of plumbing fixtures, with just the right amount of tack to adhere and shape. Couldn't be happier!
This is the best thing since "Sliced Bread"! Works like a charm. I used it on a new faucet installation and was extremely pleased that it was so easy to apply and easy to trim and clean up after the appliance was installed.
Super easy and clean installation for me. I am a real purchaser , customer. Not a robot reviewer. I read the how-to's after I used the product. SPOT ON! The only thing I will do is vacuum seal the putty so it doesn't degrade or dry out until I need it next time. Use this if you have a real need. I didn't want to use a silicon product and this is the answer for me. CHEERS!
