The Earthquake MC440 4-cycle cultivator is a powerful and lightweight solution to maintaining your garden. Great little tiller does a Wonderful job.
I have a big tiller from same company n that’s why I didn’t hesitate to buy this little one for in between rows in the garden n my wife’s flower beds. Would highly recommend!

It did it’s job with a few problems.
It has done its job with only one problem. I have used it maybe five times since I purchased it. I had to remove the top pull rope assembly twice due to it locking up and not being able to crank it. Once you remove it, it will unlock itself and you can crank it. I read a review someone else had the same problem so I was aware it might happen.

The unit came well packaged. It was very easy to assemble. It is a little difficult to start, and seems under-powered. Overall it does its job fairly well.

Does great job
After looking at many different cultivators I decided to go with this model earthquake. The power it has cut through sod easily and tilled my soil afterwords very well. It was a little hard to start but once running it started right up again when I shut it off. Great product for the money.

Horrible machine
We bought this machine roughly 4 months ago. The first time we used it the cultivator ran great. Every time since then it takes over 15 minutes to get the machine to run. Once we finally get it to run, it never gains power to actually till up the garden. If you move the choke any which way, it shuts off completely and will occasionally shut down while you are in the middle of tilling. We store this inside when we are not using it, so it is not left out in the elements. I am extremely disappointed in how this product runs and would not recommend this cultivator to anyone. Definitely not worth the money.

Regret
The motor locked up after about 4 hours of use. The retailer replaced it with a new one. It is very difficult to start. I don’t think it is well built. I don’t have faith that it will hold up well.
