Better than expected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased after shoveling the driveway once, at our new house. This is my first Troy-Bilt product, so I was leery in the purchase. I am familiar with two-stage blowers, so that wasn't new to me.
Ran amazing throughout the winter season, including a spring storm. No issues with heavy or light snow. What it does have issues with, is slushy snow. This is pretty common with blowers in general though, so not entire the fault of the blower. This is the first blower that I have had to shut down to un-clog though. Usually pulling more snow in would unclog most blowers, but this one seemed a touch underpowered.
All-in-all though, this is a great blower and I am glad I bought it. $999 is pretty steep, so watch out for some sales. It's a better bargain a couple hundred cheaper. You'll feel better about the purchase that way. If I'm going to spend a grand on a blower, it better have an LED headlight - which this does not.

I have owned 2 and recommend them

Storm 2420
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Troy-Bilt, the name speaks for itself! I haven’t had to move much snow since it arrived, but looking the machine over, it is a sturdy little monster. It arrived very quickly, assembled in 15 minutes , and started on the second pull. I expect many, many year of service from this unit.
The only negative I have to say is, I wish it had a light.

Troy bilt delivers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The snow blower came just in time. I live in Buffalo N.Y. and we just got hit with major storm, we received 3 ft and my troy bilt snow blower has been clearing my driveway with no problems. Its been a life savior.

Used twice and engine stalls under load
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought before storm in January 2022, second time using it the engine would stall under load, couldn't finish driveway. Had a tech come and get it running yesterday, it stalled again when clearing a few inches of heavy wet snow near road, then speed control cable snaps. It hasn't been the best experience. Its too bad as Troybilt was recommended by many of my friends prior to this purchase. Not sure next step, return to Home Depot?
