EZ Straw Awesome Stuff
Outstanding! Great Price. Took quickly to the grass seeds and it was a hot month this July, I kept the seeds constantly soaked underneath the mulch. It took about 7 days and now I have beautiful grass.

Works really well. Clean and easy to use!
Had a "bale" of this "straw" shipped to my TrueValue store a couple of years back, hoping I would like it. I had been using bales of straw for mulching my raised veggie beds and the paths between them for years. But that material is a just bit too large and heavy for mulching seeds, especially small ones. Plus some bales are full of seed heads - - not exactly the point of a mulch! Heard about this product on a garden blog and wanted to try it out. Was thrilled to discover that my local True Value could order it in for me. When I needed it the next time, I just ordered it myself from their website to pick up in the store. Comes in a bag so it is easy to get home and store. Plus, it is easy to spread and stays where you put it. While it is too light for the pathways between beds, it is perfect for new plantings. Could not ask for a better result.
