Rated 2 out of 5 by from Possible bad manufacturing day? My DCD709 was a gift to add to my LOVED atomic collection to complete it for the hammer functioning........Its sat on my shelf unused until i had a project that I needed hammer mode and used it for maybe thirty minutes and now in any other modes it just doesn't work well like the gear is popping.. Seems like some of the reviews mention the same thing. Very odd for a dewalt, maybe like some cars this was made on a bad manufacturing day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite compact drill I use this drill for just about everything at home. It also works great for on the job. It's powerful and has great torch. I have owned this for quite awhile and it's always reliable. I love the lightweight design and it's easy to hold. This is our favorite brand for tools at home and on the job.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from No Kitbox; DCB107 Charger takes FOREVER... WHY? I MISS Kitbox will stack, last forever, store the most -often used bits and find them inside than the bag. The bags will get hung up when trying to pull them out of tight spaces like toolboxes, service truck floorboards or cargo areas, and don't adequately protect the tools from impact damage. I thought the charger was defective -until I looked at the charging rate in the manual and compared it to all the other chargers: 70 minutes for Dewalts' SMALLEST (1.5aH) BATTERY, and 4 HOURS on 5AH BATTERY! All of Dewalts' other chargers will recharge the 1.5aH in 30 minutes (except the DCB112 at 45 minutes) The DCB107 takes WAY TOO LONG FOR SERVICE WORK . Dewalt should discontinue this crappy charger and offer the DCB112 if they must pinch a penny- the DCB112 is 40% faster, and can't cost dewalt more than 50 cents to upgrade this kit.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lasted 1 year I purchased a Dewalt DC709C2 on July 17, 2020 and it has worked flawlessly until last week. It still operates perfectly unless I try to utilize hammer mode. It will hammer a few seconds and just stop like a dead battery, then after multiple attempts to get it to work it just won't ever try. Pretty sad to only get 1 year from a Dewalt tool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent choice and high quality i bought this drill to replace my old 18 volt dewalt which is bigger and heavier. i am impressed with the quality and the size. bigger is not always better in the construction world. dewalt sets the bar high for other brands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Nice size, easy to use, like the led feature, I replaced an older Porter Cable which lasted quite awhile. This is much smaller with the same power

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dynamite in a small package!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has become my favorite go to/ take everywhere drill. Size is perfect. Weight makes it easy to wield like a Samurai. Extra battery pack, keeps the work flow moving without having to stop and recharge. Another great product from an awesome company.
