Worthless
Purchased this to clean my deck prior to sealing. Deck is about 10 years old and I seal it every other year. Thought cleaning prior to sealing would improve the appeareance after sealing. This product did absolutely nothing. Could not see any difference between treated and untreated areas. Total waste of time and money.

Clogs everything
Tried a pump sprayer. Nothing but problems. Ended up having to run the product through a t-shirt to filter out all the solids. Waste of money for a high end Cabot product.

Incomplete/erroneous instructions
Tried to use this cleaner on an untreated deck.
I emptied the container into an application pump sprayer (as advised on the product label) and proceeded to spray the deck with the fine tip on the sprayer...after one pass (3 seconds), the nozzle became clogged...cleaned it, and again, after one more pass, the nozzle got clogged again. It appears that the cleaner has particles in it (the application sprayer was new, and I rinsed it with water before starting this application). As such, out of frustration, I used the regular nozzle but the application was not uniform on the deck surface. I thought that the product would spread out when I rinsed the deck after 15 minutes...but in fact, it was and is a total mess...with blotchy marks all over the deck surface. I'll need to drive the 60km's back to where I bought the product and buy more, and this time I'll have to brush it on...adding many additional hours just in the "hope" of getting the deck surface back to it's original surface quality.
I cannot stress the level of dissatisfaction I have with this product. Nowhere on the label does it mention that it's not suitable for application sprayers!
I would NEVER recommend this product...

Difficult to Use
If this cleaner is allowed to dry without complete rinsing it will leave a white streaky residue that will interfere with Cabot solid acrylic stain adhesion. After several years of weathering we were finally able to apply a fresh coat of stain over the streaks without using a primer. The rinsing requirements of this cleaner make it difficult to use.

Not the result I exected
Bought this to clean a previously untreated deck. Application went quickly but the entire surface has millions of raised fibers which makes the deck look like it needs to have a shave before applying stain. I guess I'll sand it all down and hope for the best.
