Rated 3 out of 5 by from nice sprayer, but bought one of these last summer. Spays nice, but is heavier than old sprayers, ackward balance and if you remove paint supply before its empty the paint can spill down inside the sprayer and is almost impossible to clean. Sprayer is made so the average person can not take it apart easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quiet and powerful I bought this to paint a fence and two sheds. Worked great even with my old thick laytex paint. Didn't have to thin it out at all just strained out the chunks. Only problem I had was trying to figure out which way the red u shaped gasket should face. One page of directions aid to the rear ,other said to the tip side. From what I could find out I think it should face the tip. Mine was installed backwards right out of the box flipped it over and it worked great. Hopefully it lasts a long time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Saved a ton of time! I purchased the 570 for the purpose of spray painting 250 feet of chain link fencing. My only objection is that the flow control dial could be moved by light touch and I had to reset it several times. Other than that, it worked as I expected.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy tom use once the settings are correct It works very well and makes a little paint cover a large area. But unless you take a few moments to get the flow and air adjustments correct for the weight of what you are spraying, you'll have issues like dribbling paint out of the nozzle and loads of overspray. This can ALL be avoided.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Piece of junk! Don't buy. I had a Wagner for almost 15 years. Loved it! It stopped working so I bought the flexio 570. Painted several rooms, never liked the way it sprayed. Then on Day 4 it just stopped spraying. Yes, I've done all the troubleshooting. In a matter of days I went from wouldn't buy anything else to probably never buying Wagner again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good product for short use I bought this item last September when I moved into my house. It was a fixer upper and so I bought this in order to do quick painting. I have over 4 years experience in painting so I thought this would do the job quickly and efficiently. It worked great for 4 rooms but then started to give me problems. I replaced parts and made sure everything was unclogged and it slowly got worse with the painting and quality. I have spent more time troubleshooting this gun than actually using it. I used it last week and it worked fine to paint my front door. Cleaned it all up and sprayed warm water through it to ensure everything was cleaned (I'm using interior latex paints) and put it away after ensuring it was cleaned properly. Went to use it today and it doesn't work at all. I cannot get any pressure in the cup when using paint. I can get it with water though. I have even taken the filters off completely to see if this would fix it. Nothing will fix it. If you want a product to last, I don't recommend buying this at all. Stick with a real paint sprayer. If you're only doing odds and ends and don't care if it lasts forever, then this will work for you.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Get the set up correct and no worries Building a 12x16 storage shed in our backyard and began painting earlier this week. Quickly realized that rolling the paint was merely a exercise in frustration so I purchased the 570 unit. Do yourself a favor and do some research on your own. As I was in a time crunch, I just asked the associate in the paint department at the big box store what they recommended. I gave them the scope of the project and they pointed me to one product. Once I read the box I found they were pointing my to a stainer and not a painter. Browsed the instructions and loaded up the first round of paint and the sprayer worked like a champ. However, after the first round I nearly took the sprayer back as it failed to even remotely work as described. Over the next couple days I managed to get roughly 1/8 of the shed painted and it looked like a toddler had procured the sprayer and went to town. I decided to reverse engineer the sprayer, so to speak, to see where the errors are occurring. Have to say the operator error accounted for about 80% of the problems. It took sprayer about 5 canisters of water, seeing the spray pattern and adjusting the flow control knob to get a decent pattern. I found the sprayer is exceptionally susceptible to clogging. As this is my first sprayer, it may just be nature of the beast. Here are a few tips that I found to help keep things running smoothly. First, I read on another review that having a wet towel and wiping the nozzle area helps. It doesn't just help but I found to be a necessity, frequently! After refilling the canister I was getting horrible spray pattern. I found that by setting the intake unit down, paint was clogging the spray tube and functioning more like a texture gun than a sprayer. Now I keep the unit upright between to blocks and let gravity clear the tube. No more splatter! The red adjustment knob has far more travel than I would have thought. Without really playing with the knob, I assumed there were only a few turns to go from heavy to light spray. In reality it travels more like 1/2" so if your pattern is bad or too heavy, give that knob about 10 turns and you should be good. In retrospect, it seems obvious that just dumping paint from the can into the canister is a recipe for frustration. Unless your paint or stain is brand new and free from any debris, your sprayer will clog almost immediately. If you have to use any old paint, run it through a filter or your afternoon will be spent repeatedly disassembling the sprayer and continually cleaning. Once I took some time to play and adjust the sprayer I accomplished more in 40 minutes than I did in a few hours the previous day. I rated the unit as average as I have nothing to compare it too. In essence, I would still be painting if I had to roll and brush. Now the main painting is done and I have found multiple other projects that will benefit from having the 570 in my quiver of tools.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from spray area is junk. Received this as a gift. When I opened the box the spray tip had cracks in it, that made the paint spray splatter out of area. Making it not useable. I looked for parts in stores , no body carries them. I think this is a very poor design, it needs to be heavyer in this area.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Never used a Wagner We have never used a Wagner Flexio before I was very disappointed with the clean up, also we can't seem to get the hang of spraying the ceiling. We have 3 more rooms and a garage left to spray and I'm seriously thinking about rolling the rest because we can't figure out the flexio 570. I'm really disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sprays thick paint no problem Borrowed my brothers old Wagner spray gun to paint the outside of my garage but the 220 model did not have enough power to spray the thick acrylic latex paint i bought. Decided to give the 570 model a try and it worked like a champ. One tip which the manual recommends is to wipe off the spray nozzle occasionally but i would recommend doing it every time you refill the paint pot, also wipe off the "ears" that stick up around the nozzle, if you let paint build up on those it will distort the spray pattern and cause a lot of over spray - it only takes a few seconds with a wet rag. Over all a great little gun for the money.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good, when it works. The sprayer worked great when painting an entire house interior, worked great when I painted my privacy fence. It seems after these two uses I could continue with it, but the paint just will not come out of the bowl. I troubleshooted it several times, cleaning, new filters , new o-rings, but to no avail. Again, works great when it works. Having misplaced the receipt after owning it less than a year means I'm stuck with an ornament. Why should I invest in parts when I'm skeptible that it will not work again. Come on, Wagner, let's make these sprayers last !!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from When it works it's great Iv had this unit for two years and only used it three times. I stained 30ft. Of deck railings, worked great. Stained a gazebo, worked great. And the walls on my basement steps, very small area and worked great. The unit still looks good hardly any paint on it. It's was always cleaned up right away. Went to use it after sitting for a year. I put water in the tank to make sure it was working and it was so I switched to paint sprayed almost a two foot strip and the motor blew sparks and black soot out. It looked up. Sounded like a barring went out. I don't think I over used it. For it not to last.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke by 2nd use I used this machine worked great the first go, but by the secound layer of paint it wouldn't suck in anything, not water, not paint, nothing, it would just blow air. It was cleaned very well after first use, but still no improvements.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great upgrade... I bought this to stain my very large two level deck. I have a very old Power Painter. I decided to try this new one rather than trying to find new swirl valves. I'm not a painter and would prefer not to paint. However, the 570 was amazing. First, because I'm not a painter, I actually read the instructions. Please don't tell my friends. I used the 1.5 quart cup that came with it, set the pattern, put it on low, and started spraying. I played with the material setting and found I liked it a little heavier so I could move faster. I was surprised how well it felt and how quiet it is. Not a painter, I figured out how important the patterns were. I could adjust it one way for spraying the rails and another for the decking. I have a big deck, so it took me a while to finish. I finished the first coat easily before the football game started. I decided on a second coat but had to split that into two 'sessions'. So, in all I had to clean the sprayer 3 times for this first project. I refilled the cup many times! That might bother serious painters or if you're doing a lot of ladder work, but I wasn't worried about that. Using Baer stain, it cleaned up very easily with just water and liquid soap. I had to scrub some where overspray dried, but it was great. I'd never thought of staining my fence, but this went so well, I'm starting to look at the fence.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from colossal waste of money Save your money and time. Just after 5 minutes of operation, the sprayer began to clog and sputter. I cleaned the device multiple times and the sprayer just would not perform. The box looks good on the shelves and that is where it needs to stay. If you feel the need to use a paint sprayer, you should consider using an aerosol paint cans for your project. I spend more time cleaning and returning the sprayer than actual painting. Wagner needs to seriously reconsider the design of their sprayers and hire different engineers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wagner Flexio 570 Sprayer It is a little bit on the heavy side, the trigger is a little on the stiff side as well. I have a 6' privacy fence that I re-stained. I was able to complete the job in one day, not sure if it is due to the fact that it is brand new or what, with the stiffness in the trigger. overall I am happy with the way my project turned out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This product does not deliver. I purchased this sprayer to do smaller projects like doors and cabinets. I tried to use it to spray on the primer coat on a door and the delivery was splotchy and inconsistent. Very disappointing for a product that is advertised to be so good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Leap in Technology Twenty years ago I needed to spray paint shutters, the only real way to paint them. Technology then left 10 finger nails on the ground for me to gather and super glue back on. I absolutely DREADED having to buy and use another electric paint sprayer. AMAZING is all I can say about the product's quality today. Zero vibrations, the mechanism no longer relying on oscillating at the 60 cycles per second from the wall outlet. However they did it they earned a fan for LIFE.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from worked very well I had used an older Wagner sprayer in the past and it worked pretty well, so I though I would try Wagner again when I painted the exterior of my house, getting it ready to sell. I was very happy to learn that this product worked even better than the older Wagner that I had used. I painted the entire outside over the course of several days, the time was mainly for taping and masking off. I ran about 7 gallons of paint through the sprayer and it worked great, only one time did I have a slight issue with globbing and that was due to the little washer inside not being seated properly when I reassembled. I corrected that and things were fine again. This spring I will be painting the exterior of my new house and will use the same sprayer

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Well I tried.... I had high opes, however, we started out well enough. Bright sunny day, and warmer temps, like 72 or 75 degrees. Got through the first container of paint and then. After adding paint, I started getting globs. Turned it off, took it apart, and cleaned the whole tip. Started fine again, then within 20 minutes, globs again. Checked everything and cleaned it again. I changed the inner seal, and still could not keep it from spitting. What a mess. Not impressed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 570 Flexio I hate painting! Messy rollers, brushes, and roller pan. My neighbor and I just built a 60 foot/ six foot good-neighbor fence and I was not looking forward to painting my side. He rolled, brushed for four days and still did not get it done. He offered to help me paint my side and I said no way. I was going to try spray painting. Got up on a Sunday morning with my new Wagner whiz painter (Flexio model570), meticulously prepped, and in just over an hour I had completely put down the first coat, Behr Latex Stain . It was a little tricky for a first timer but I followed directions, looked on you-tube for hints and suggestions and all went well. Clean hands, clean gear, and lots of fun. The unit is easy to use and really easy to clean. Yes, it takes a little effort but sure beats rollers and brushes. I'll use rollers/brushes very sparingly if at all. I highly recommend end this product. Would like to have purchased the 590 but budget did not allow. I think that model's features pretty much covers all painting needs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from HORRIBLE PRODUCT!!! Sprayer does not perform like it's product description and is worse than the old Power Painter. I purchased this to spray an exterior door but used it first on an exterior wall for the angle that meets the eve and also at the ground, spraying S-W exterior satin latex . Splatter finish only and unable to use for the door. The messiest product I've ever used!! High setting left an unbelievable amount of overspray. Low setting still had an unacceptable amount of overspray. When letting off of the trigger, the splatter thickened onto the project and then paint POURED out of the spray nozzle making an unbelievable mess. Nearly 1/4 of the paint was lost on the ground and covered the painter. The cleanup took longer than the painting project. I read all of the instructions first and then went through the toubleshooting guide. Everything was assembled as recommended but the sprayer would not perform as described.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product For once an electric paint sprayer that is not only affordable for the average home owner but one that does a great job of spraying paint. It's easy to assemble, easy to use and clean up is a breeze. Plus being able to use the paint right out of the can without thinning is wonderful. Great job to the design team at Wagner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellant Product - Would highly recommend I have never used a paint sprayer before, but I was painting the exterior of my house so I thought I should try a sprayer to cut down on the time. I picked this product based on reviews and the price. It worked wonderfully and I got my house painted with no problems. I followed the instructions to clean the sprayer after each use and had no problems with clumping, the sprayer not working, etc. I would highly recommend this product.
