Rated 1 out of 5 by from Added fish! Has cat has severe allergies so I'm very careful about buying cat food without fish. My cat's feet started bleeding and now he's limping. Nothing has changed so I checked the cat food label and saw that fish was added to the turkey and giblets. I am very disappointed and upset.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Now contains FISH! Now contains FISH! Purina, you have ruined one of the very few fish-free foods available at a reasonable price. WHY??? Fish gives my cat diarrhea, immediately. It doesn't matter how good a protein it is, it makes my cat sick. Another of our cats is allergic to chicken. Another is borderline diabetic and needs the very low carb level of this food. This WAS the one food we could feed everyone with no problems; and without having to lock each cat in a different room to feed them. And now you have ruined it. And why do some of your replies claim you have not changed the formulation? You have! How about you take the turkey you mix in your beef formulation and keep it in the turkey flavor, and put all the stinkin' fish into the beef flavor, which already has it. Fish is becoming a common cat allergen, so by what logic did you decide to contaminate all of your foods with it??? Seriously!!! Chicken is another common allergen nowadays, so yes, by all means, mix two major allergens into every variety of food you have. That makes perfect sense, doesn't it? Put the formulation back the way it was. Look at how many recent reviews are unhappy about the fish, both from a flavor and the allergen issues. You won't be increasing your profits by changing protein sources if no one buys your food anymore.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Yes Cats won’t even touch the new formula. Since early April 2023 this product has changed. People mention in their reviews about Purina adding fish. True. But it’s more than that. The texture, color and (obviously taste since my cats won’t touch it) is completely different. First, the texture. It is a hard dense puck. Have to struggle to flake it out of the can. When I do it is made of up tiny hard granules, not smooth pate texture. My cats got sick the first batch. So I waited several weeks to order again, hoping it was just a weird dehydrated case. Second and third order was just as bad to my eye and my cats won’t go near it. It’s awful. Purina, you say you have‘t changed the formula. Fess up! You have! Please change it back to the original. I won’t buy it again until I hear it’s back to normal. Btw, I tried the chicken and chicken and liver, and those formulas are the same old smooth pate formula. But one of our 3 cats can’t eat chicken, so we can’t buy it. Purina, please tell us what the change is, and change the turkey & giblets back to the original formula.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from FISH is now added to Turkey and Giblets! How disappointing that FISH is now being added to the classic Turkey and Giblets pate! It was our preferred cat food for years because of the simplicity of the ingredients- just turkey and organ meats. Now I am having to move to other brands. Purina, please consider restoring your original formula!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Something about this flavor is different My cats used to love this flavor until recently. For over two years I ordered this flavor alongside other flavors and my cats scarfed it down. I don’t know what happened or what changed but my cats would not touch this particular flavor from my most recent order. I tried serving it on two separate occasions thinking there might have been a fluke after the first time. Whatever change was made, if there was a change made, please change it back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turkey Pate now contains fish Why does this now contain fish? Turkey & Giblets is the only food my elderly IBS cat can tolerate because it is (was) one of the only foods that didn't contain fish or chicken. I guess my choice now is to somehow find another food she'll eat or let my cat vomit every day. The entire case of food will now go to waste because I won't give it to her again. What a disappointment. Why would you do this?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from My cats didn't care for it [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My four cats normally love Fancy Feast - especially poultry flavors. Matilda's favorite is Fancy Feast Chicken Feast pate. But the Turkey & Giblets pate did not entice my cats. None of them ate it. We'll have to stick to Chicken pate. I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I use it 2 different ways [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this can of Pate in exchange for my honest review. I use it in 2 different ways. For one, I provide it as is for a extra treat, as my cats usually eat dry food most days. I also mix it with a little of their dried food, just to give them a variety. Whichever way I give it to my cats, they love it and eat it right up! I recommend this Pate for sure.
