I'm in love!!!
We had lighting installed that required new wiring in the ceiling. We were left with 8 holes to be repaired. The holes were 1" to 3" in diameter. I came across this product and it was the perfect solution. I followed the directions and it worked exactly as stated. Only one hole didn't come out perfectly smooth but I also had a difficult time reaching the hole, so I think my stretched effort was the reason for the less than perfect layout. When I walk into my kitchen, I have to SEARCH for the repair. The only "give away" is the very fresh white paint versus the older application. NOw you need to come up with a TAPE that works the same way but for a larger area. It should have a reinforced line that would align with the seam of the added piece of drywall! If you could do that, and have it work the same way (Adhere, paint, strip off outer layer, then paint again)... my Goodness!!!! It would be the ultimate game changer! Thank you. I have a normal kitchen again.

Okay Patch Depends on Lighting
The patch goes on well and seems solid. Unfortunately, under certain lighting, the patch is very obvious. Since this will be in a bright bathroom, it might be easy to see the patch depending on how the lighting works out. It was still clearly visible through 3 coats of paint. After 5 coats it looks good, but the outline is still visible sometimes. Use this product with caution. I wish I had done a California patch instead. This review is for the 4 inch patch covering a hole slightly less than 2 by 2 inches. See attached images.

Skeptical Until I Used It
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were in the middle of repainting our dining room when I received thee DAP product. We uninstalled the old doorbell system which left a small 1 inch hole in the wall. My spackling skills are not that great especially on holes. We decided to try the small stickers. We didn't think this would work and were highly skeptical. It seemed like we were just using a stronger scotch tape to cover up the hole and paint over it. It was very easy to install and the paint applied smoothly. After the first coat dried, we removed the outer layer protector and painted the 2nd coat. It dried and held. I can't even tell where the hole was. Very impressed.

Easy wall repair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is really easy to use. Make sure the area is FLAT! Then slap the patch on like a sticker. Paint over the whole application. Once that's dry, peel off the protective layer, and repaint. That's it! You don't have to deal with the mess of spackling and sanding. I used this on a couple of smaller holes in the bathroom and dining room, and unless you look close you can hardly tell there was a hole. Makes the rooms look much better.

Quick Fix
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm an avid DYIer, I've fully renovated homes and own rental property for which I do most of the repairs. I normally have plaster, sheetrock, and tape on hand to make plaster repairs and I will go that route for most repairs. Having said that, I was excited to try the DAP Eclipse Rapid Wall Repair Patch as a quick easy fix in low-traffic areas and it worked great. If you don't have the skills, tools and time, and want a super quick patch, this is your solution.

Easy to use for quick repairs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Eclipse wall repair patches made something that normally is a frustrating process go quick and easy. The instructions for using the patches were clear and easy to follow and the product did exactly what it said it would. Where there used to be a hole on my wall, now you can't even tell there ever was one.
