The "Y" filter comes with a 150-mesh screen filter that's removable for cleaning and maintenance unscrew the flush cap, remove the middle housing, and pull out the filter to clean or replace. The "Y" filter housing is made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) treated with UV inhibitors, and contains a polyester filter.
