Horrible! Lasted lass than a year
Would give zero stars if I could, we had this applied to our year old deck one year ago & it’s already peeling. The paint looks horrible in general, especially since it leaves footprints th at don’t come off. We now do not know what to do besides try to strip it off and go with a different product. This is going to be very labor intensive and expensive. Do not recommend at all!!!

EPIC FAIL — WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
Purchased several gallons of this DeckCorrect (in 2-colors) after a friend recommended it. We stained the deck in August 2023 and here we are just 5-months and it’s peaked and chipped ALL over; even on the railings! I am SO DISAPPOINTED in this product. It consumed a LOT of time to stain all 3-of our decks — not to mention the money we paid; it wasn’t cheap! Terrible Results! HUGE Waste of money time.

Deck Correct Confusion
The wording on the gallon is VERY confusing when it comes to coverage.
It says, "Requires a 2 coat application. One gallon covers approximately 75 sq. ft. with 2 coats."
Does that mean there are two layers of 75 feet in the can???? Or one coat of 75 feet????

Did Not Last
We put this on our deck 3 years ago. We stripped and cleaned the old stain off as stated, and used the prescribed rollers to apply it. It lasted about a year before it started to peel off. Now, about half the deck has peeled off, and the other half will not come off. Not sure how to proceed but definitely will not be putting it back on.

Deck Destroyer
This product causes the wood to rot quickly. It has destroyed my deck boards. The entire deck now has to be replaced. Stay away!

Product performs as advertised
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Deck correct works miracles on decking that is cracked and chipped. I used it on my cabin porch in an are exposed to extreme snow and temps in the winter. That was a year ago.
Still looks like the day I applied it. I like the fact i gives a slightly rough texture to the surface as it prevents slipping and falls in winter.

EXPENSIVE REGRETS!
As a disabled Veteran on a fixed income I needed a good product that would last, so I bought 2 gallons of this product and paid to have it put on correctly. The color was not what it said it would be, but I could deal with that.
It went on and looked great until the first rain. Everything stuck to it and left it stained. When I walked on it, it left impressions on my feet. About 4 or 5 months after having it done it started peeling and scraping and looked as if the deck had not been cared for in twenty years. I have seen abandoned homes with decks that looked better than this.
I went ahead and bought 2 more gallons and had it reapplied following the appropriate process. The same exact thing has happened again. Not only is this product not what the company said it would be, but it is impossible to get it off to use another product.
Question for Cabot… Am I expected to buy you stain every year and then pay to have someone put it on because you are selling an inferior product that has ruined my deck? I have spent over double my budget on this product and can't afford to have it sanded down and redone, so what do you suggest? You should be refunding everyone their money plus time or cost of having it applied since it is obvious from the comments that you have known this product is crap. Regrets? You better believe it.
I tried to post pictures, but it would not allow me to do so.
