Weber smoker
I like the way this grill controls temperature. It is well thought out for use. I actually have 2 of these, the 18 1/2” and the 22”. Both work great. The only problem I have had was the thermometer going out on the 22”. I have had it for a couple of years and it has not been used enough for it break. I’m hoping it was just a bad one and not the norm because they are not cheap to replace.

Great smoker with good build quality
This smoker is made really well and holds a good steady temperature. The finish on the smoker feels like it is think and will hold up well. I love that it came with a coating protective cover.
The thermometer in the lid is handy, but am unsure if it’s accuracy yet and I’m validating it wil some other probes. It would be nice to have a way to store the lid on the smoker while renting to the food inside like the kettle grills do. It is a bit annoying that I have to put the hot lid on the ground while tending to the food. Also the door used for the coals/wood does not quite fit snug enough, so smoke and air can leak that may eventually cause the temps to fluctuate.
All in all though, I am happy with my purchase and believe this cooker can last for many years if taken care of properly.

New but overall good
Easy to assemble and start smoking. Was worried about temp control but with the WSM it was easier to control than I thought. A little more smoke coming out from around the lid than I hoped but will work if needed to minimize gap. Still perfecting my process but overall I am happy with the WSM.

18" WSM Smokes Great
I have been wanting this for years. After 3 cooks, I can confirm that it fits 4 racks of ribs (I may buy the hanging option for larger racks), pork butts, and briskets. It can get tight though...very tight. It is very easy to maintain temp and a little charcoal goes a long way. My only wishes are that there was easy easy to store the lid when opening it and the water bowl/heat shield didn't get in the way when adding wood chunks. Add on accessories will fix this. I do love this thing.

Versatile, simple cooker with great results
Versatile, simple cooker that produces great results. Lots of fun to try different cooking techniques, wood flavors, and accessories. You can cook low and slow, hot and fast, and even direct heat for things like whole chicken cooks as well. I've managed to make jerkey in this cooker using a charcoal snake to keep the temp very low around 150º-160º.

AMAZING SMOKER
Using the SMC for the first time today. This smoker is amazing. After adjusting the vents i am able to maintain 230 degrees and it olny took i few tries to get right. I also noticed that aftet 2.5 hours i still had plenty of wood and charcoal. So i really don't have to mess it.

Best sized smoker
This is the perfect smoker. I have the 14, 18 and 22 Smokey Mountains and this is the best size to get. You can smoke everything from turkey to party wings.
