New Grass
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a hard spring freeze that killed all the new growth and most of the centipede,
This product was easy to use and following the directions this is filling in the dead spots nicely.
I would recommend this grass see to anyone that has bare spots, winter kill spots, or starting a place and letting it spread.

Not a first pick but does the job.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This would not be my first pick for patching, I have used other products from Scotts that germinate faster blend better and that are easier to use. I did a good ground prep and gave it a good water the first few weeks, afterwards I increased the frequency for the sprinkler system. It took longer to sprout than comparable products. Also I am not a fan of the dry peat that is in the packaging it is very light and a lot of it blew away as it dried.

Good option for small bare spots.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good option for centipede bare spots. Make sure you’ve prepared the soil and prepared to water in and water on a regular basis. It still requires effort unlike sod. You also need to make sure it’s applied after temps are regularly over 60 degrees.

Dead patch filling in
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Put down Scott’s centipede EZ seed and my dead patch is starting to fill in nicely. Will continue to monitor it and use in other dead spots as well. Took about two weeks to begin to germinate the seed.

Helped with bare spots
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was very easy to apply to my yard. The the mulch ingrediant helps the seeds stay moist and stationary. I am anticipatinting that the centipede gras will grow and fill in the bare spots. Very pleased so faf

EZ Seed is a Waste of Money
2nd time I’ve tried EZ Seed & it does not work as advertised. I followed the instructions & very little grass has grown. Don’t waste your money. Just buy regular seed & some top soil.
