Rated 5 out of 5 by from Forth Wagner Product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Wagner Control Painter 2.0 about a month ago and was trying to finish a project on which I planned to use it. I finally finished construction and moved on to the finishing stage. Using the Control Painter 2.0 to apply exterior latex paint thinned 7% with Flotrol I was able to get the finish needed. It was simple to set up and use and once fine tuning adjustments were completed the paint went on sufficiently. Clean up was easy but took me a while because I tried to clean it to an "out of the box" condition.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Multiple use [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Instructions are detailed and good. Used the Painter 2.0 for two projects. One - sprayed new sheetrock with primer and finish coat. Second - spray outdoor shutters. Both used paint out of the can. Adjustments on Wagner are great and easy - vertical/horizontal pattern, density of paint, etc. Was able to control application of paint on target without getting paint all over the place. Air quantity is impressive. Oh - and clean up is a pleasure - follow directions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sprayer [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this sprayer for a couple of weeks, and the first thing I noticed was how easy it was to assemble. Here are other features that I like about the Wagner Control Painter, Material Flow Control Setting, let you control how much paint you can use. Setting from 1-12, I set my at 5 or 6, which was enough paint to cover the railing and spindles. If you need to change from vertical to horizontal, no problem, just turn the Front Adjustment Ring a quarter turn, that's it. The Spray Width Lever is a great feature, you can adjust the width of the spray pattern just by sliding the lever. The paint came out easily with no drip or spills. The on/off switch is on both sides next to the trigger, you can easily turn it on and off no matter if you right handed or left handed. Over all I really like this sprayer and I would highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wagner Control Painter 2 I have used the sprayer for a medium to large "Do IT Yourself" Job. It included both interior and exterior jobs. The interior job was for stain spraying at two fireplaces and painting the ceilings and walls of two one-bedroom duplexes, including their bathrooms. The exterior job consisted of the same duplex with a stucco wall. Here are the pros and cons of this master miniature piece. You have to try hard to mess up using this machine. A well-written manual is included, even some templates for further guidance. YouTube videos are available, as well. I spent 2-3 minutes reading the manual to prove my wife wrong that men don't read manuals. The ease of use, including cleaning, is phenomenal. For cleaning it will beat the traditional big ones, hands down, absolutely without any doubt. The color schemes were different for the ceiling and the walls for rooms and the bathroom. Don't forget the different stains for the fireplace. It was a breeze to clean after each different color and product. No mess up, not for just the sake of saying. The time-saver feature for cleaning, allowing seamless switches, is something you have to experience yourself to believe it. The only relative disadvantage is when you want to cover a large area that would utilize a lot of paint: the exterior stucco wall, in my case. The interior job has already mentally prepared me with a workflow: two cups of similar size of the bottle sprayer, continually refilled by my helpers, and ready to go. Thanks for forwarding the thinking. I had plenty of exterior paint. It went without any hitch. Both interior and exterior jobs had great professional results. This is the new "M and M" for a DIYer: Mini and Mighty." I am impressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Painting Professionally [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this about a month and a Hurricane Zeta somewhere in there. Finally able to try use my Control Painter. I chose to apply a colored varnish to two large picture frames. Adjustment of spray pattern was fairly easy. Application to the frames went well once pattern was set. Photos are attached. Cleanup was what is expected with oil-based products requiring several good rinses with some solvent so that Control Painter is thoroughly clean and ready for next use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes The Job Fly! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Painted a shed with it and it was great. It has a consistent output that provides a smooth and solid coat. I enjoyed the adjustments you can make on the fly and is also pretty easy to clean. I highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wagner Control Painter 2 [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sprayer was provided to me free of cost in exchange for an unbiased review. I have used it once only. Hence long term feedback is not possible. It is not good, but dam good. I will label it M & M, “Mini and Mega.” Pack it light and ready to take a medium to a slightly large job, depending on how you define it. I am remodeling some houses and already have a traditional sizeable airless sprayer that takes a five-gallon bucket, but decided to use this instead. There is no more need to spend a lot of time setting up the machine and cleaning after the painting is over. I have lost three large traditional air sprayer machines earlier because workers don’t care. What have I done so far? I started with staining two fireplaces after a good sanding. There is a night and day difference between what one can do with the brush and this sprayer. The results were professional grade. I then painted two bathrooms, ceilings, and the rooms inside the houses, which required three different colors, but it was a breeze to change it after spending minimal time cleaning. It was ready to go. It was impossible with my bigger sprayer in the time that I finished those jobs. Lastly, I used it on the outside stucco wall. I must admit that it may get somewhat irritating to fill in the bottle very quickly if one is working on a large area that sucks up a lot of paint, like stucco. I will do it again, however. It is all about convenience. Should you consider starting a big painting company using this sprayer? No. But, if you are an average Do It Yourself, then it’s your M and M. Usually, if I get something free, I joking ask, “Can I get another one, please”? For this gem, I will ask for at least two more.
