I purchased this, not to pick up trash, but to stab at fallen, leathery sarsaparilla leaves that last forever in Ohio and get stuck in un-rakeable portions of my landscaping. Since it's winter and there's snow on the ground, I haven't had the opportunity to use it yet. I played with it when it was just out of the box and stabbed at a few leaves off the front porch. It's going to work perfectly for cherry picking dead leaves in my yard.
